  1. Zapf Bandit, if you could post a link to your webspace, I would like to try your demo on the various emus and versions that I have - thanks.
  2. It's looks like the calibration data has no effect on any of my demos. The pointer is always down and to the right of where it should be. Do you have any plans on supporting passme (PME) files? They all cause a crash.
  3. Battleships, yes it works by clicking a bit below. I will have to work out the proper corrdinates for the ini file. Why would people release things that don't run on the actual DS? It doesn't make sense. I'm sure you are correct, though.
  4. It's a testing time for r8, the most obviously noticeable thing is the presence of a new bug.... 2d_emu, 2dexample_arm9 : works armwrestler.w1, armwrestler.w2 : works, all tests passed battleship : no response by clicking on the start bar, so it cannot run [new bug] birds_arm9 : white screen [new bug] bug : works [apart from its own bug] calc_arm9 : cannot see keypad [new bug] cube_emu, first1, ship_emu : works davr_arm9 : white on top, black on bottom (i wish i knew what this is supposed to do) drops_arm9 : works except top screen is white mode4dc, mode4ep, mode6 : works dspaint : works except palette selection is way out mcommand : white screen [new bug] mines_arm9a : top screen white, graphics corrupted [new bug] nibbles10, nibbles11 : works pandaforth : white screen [new bug] pongDS : ball is missing [new bug] smantouch : works sponge-arm9 : brown screen [new bug] tetris-1p, tetris-2p, tetris10, tetris11 : working except cannot change background colour any more at all. texture_emu : white square [no change] tile02 : works but touchscreen way out of alignment under_pressure : atom still corrupt [no change] all the other NDS demos give a strange message : Selecting Yes causes a crash. I assume that by playing with the ini file, I may be able line up the touchscreen? Is that correct? MIC, hope this provides usuable info for you.
  5. That site has links to roms and bioses, although membership is required. It may well be breaking our rules.
  6. Dualis Revision 8 has been released! »» http://dualis.1emulation.com/ [site] »» Dualis Official Forum »» http://dualis.1emulation.com/files/index.html [Downloads]
  7. What's the name of the demo file? It sounds like something I should have.
  8. I've obtained a few new demos Each comes as a NDS and a DS.GBA (rename to PME) Description: nibbles 1.1 - fixes various bugs. The snake now has a large head. The cherry sometimes is 2 cherries. Use the touchscreen to guide the snake. tetris 1.1 - hold down A when booting to get the 2-player screen. On the pc this is the X key. calc_arm9 - a ti-85 calculator. Use the touchscreen to simulate pressing the calculator keys. Results: Dualis r7 - each demo works well. In tetris, pressing X is tricky, but can be done. You cannot change the background colour at all. DSemu 3c - tetris and nibbles blank screen. Calc boots up, but the bottom screen is blank. Clicking in random places produces input - you just can't see what you're clicking. Ideas 2 - same as DSemu except no touchscreen (as usual). HyperDS 3 - none of the demos would run
  9. It would have been far better to read the ANNOUNCEMENT which is at the top of the index, right under the New Topic button !!
  10. Not to old to resurrect? I'm using Azureus and Zone Alarm 5, and they get on quite well. I can see Zone Alarm blocking traffic, but the files continue to transfer anyway. Azureus does have this java thingy, has no ill effect on the pc at all. The only problem is that some UK site banned it, so I just use some other place.
  11. Might be a silly question... but any idea what time frame that would be? btw, on behalf of everyone here, I appreciate all the work you've put into DS emulation, you're one of very few who have gotten anywhere with it. Remember, if you ever get another version or emu to work on win32, I can test it for you.
  12. From the official site Firstly this... And just now, this...
  13. Not sure... you could try this... Right-click on taskbar, properties, somewhere is an an option to group similar tasks together (something like that). Turn it off and see what difference it makes.
  14. There is a bug with your demo. If you set it for say, x=10, then press left, it says x=90 instead of x=9. It needs to put a space after the number.
  15. Looks like I got different results... DSemu versions 2d to 2g shows the counter, and it increments as expected, but no ship. All other DSemu versions have problems. Dualis r7 - start it, press left key and it crashes the emu. Press right key and it works up to x=491 then it crashes. Ideas 2 - works, but ship is a different shape, and it doesn't handle it properly at the sides. It's either fully there or gone.
  16. I've come across what might be a new emu called UberNES. Has anyone heard of it? I've dl'd a copy, and it starts up. I know nothing about nes, so someone will need to tell me what to do. I won't provide any links right now in case it breaks a rule. features: it maintains a games database it has box art maintains high scores which can be merged with others across the net you can enter game genie cheat codes you can use the joypad to select and run a game this is for version 2 revision 4
  17. I expect you won't see any source code until it's released to the general public - if it ever happens.
  18. I've been wondering what the term "passme" was about, and have uncovered an explanation of it. For those who are interested, here it is, courtesy of http://www.hungrydeveloper.com He also insisted that Natrium42 get full credit for the device, and that there is plans in the works for manufacturing and selling the PassMe. Natrium42 has not been contacted for comment. Some recent demos include a PassMe version. These are the roms that end with a ".ds.gba" extension. The latest version of iDeaS, 1.0.0.2, can run these demos, as long as the extension of "pme" is added.
  19. And you could read the official FAQ located at --> http://www.mame.net/mamefaq.html
  20. iDeaS 1.0.0.2 released! >> http://ideasemu.altervista.org/downloads.php [Download] >> http://ideasemu.altervista.org/index.php [site]
  21. Lucky I never had time to test 0.0.3b as it had a major bug with the screens. I even saw a real DS in action today and it does look impressive. The emulation of the basic features hasn't even begun! Lots of work for Two9A and Mic ! The new config option worked at the first attempt. I like how you just press the key you want. Excellent! Now let's test the DS roms: 2d_emu, 2dexample-arm9 : red cherries are missing armwrestler.w1, armwrestler.w2 : appears in the correct window, all tests passed battleshipDS : hangs just before start bar should appear davr_arm9a : purple at top, black at bottom (same as Dualis) drops_arm9 : bottom screen not working first1 : works smantouch.arm9 : works except emoticon is missing tetris-1p, tetris-2p : works (same as Dualis) under_pressure : works tetris.nds : no text, slows down after enter pressed The remaining DS demos either same problems as before or don't work. GBA roms: armwrestler : all ATM V5TE are failed copperbars : works fill1 : works fontdisp, maddness, roto, asteroids, atomix, copper, gbacc, nexus, tetrisCA, vothello, walk3d, wsdemo6, yahtzee : hangs emu at start ht : works mode3 : works oamtest : works tunnel : works afire : works hazuki : works impact : works raster : black santa_escapes : intro appears, goes away then emu freezes The remainder are working, or not working, same as before The slowdown problem has been fixed for GBA roms. Some NDS roms can take quite a while to load particularly those with a NDS extension. It seems a new bug, perhaps an internal endless loop?, has appeared with many GBA roms that were doing something, now just freezing instead. The problem occurs with walk3d, so it should not be hard to track it down.
  22. I hate april fool jokes, they are so pathetic. That screendump is getting deleted when I get back home.
