And they have their own forum of which I have been a member for about 2 months.

I'm from the old-skool - howeever I must agree with those kids. Pong was boring the first time I ever saw it. And people would actually go out and buy a pong console. I always hated Tetris. Space Invaders keeps interest for about 5 minutes max. They didn't like Galaga !!

Damn the scum that came to your town.

I tested it on this pc which runs win2k pro with 512meg of ram and the path is c:\download\nds\ndsemu.exe There are some limits which you should try not to exceed. They are (a) more than 127 characters in the complete path ( more than 8 folders deep I'm not saying that ndsemu will have a problem if you exceed the limits, but some programs can't handle it well.

Problem with XP SP2 firewall is that if you do happen to get a trojan, the firewall will allow any and all outward traffic. It only prevents inward traffic. Zone-alarm protects both ways.

Oh-oh, Leathel has escaped from that other forum. Welcome to 1emu !!

over 24,000 now. No warning system would have helped the Maldives islands. It is hundreds of islands, most no more than 2.5 metres above see level. The 10m wave simply washed right over them.

Nevertheless, that is the problem. I don't know why someone only dumped half a rom.

What do YOU believe is the purpose of life?
Robert replied to Alpha's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
This is what we are here for. To me it all seems rather pointless. There must be some higher purpose or reason for us to exist rather than the day-to-day rat-race. Trouble is, I don't know if there is a purpose to it all. Some poeple look to religion but I think it's something else... I just don't know. -
Were finally affiliated with NGEmu! :)
Robert replied to Alpha's topic in 1Emulation.com Information [/info]
Does it mean we can post links to that site? -
I just tried it and the tests worked fine. One of them (testadd) has a black screen afire.bin has flames burning fill1.bin has 4 coloured stripes. Just make sure you shut down the program before starting the next test or it will "generate errors".

Is it me or is it the most HORRIBLE christmas ever
Robert replied to Aoshi's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
Worst Christmas ever. I found out that my father has terminal cancer, and his body isn't making any more blood cells and he will probably be dead in 2 weeks. -
I've been using ZoneAlarm Pro for a while and it's quite good. There is a free version you can download and try. I decided to get the whole deal which cost $70 AUD.

Yes it seems some monkey virus transferred to humans. Now how could that happen unless someone did weird sh*it?? Anyway there are far too many humans on this planet, it's about time some epidemic cleaned out most of them...us. If it's not aids, then it's some tribal war, or a famine, or some other human-induced tragedy. http://www.careusa.org/newsroom/specialrep...frica/index.asp

No plans for conscription in the US, huh?
Robert replied to random guy's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
What an over-complicated topic !! Earlier someone asked how the Australian govt got the list. That's easy - anyone born here goes into a database kept by the dept of births, deaths and marriages. You cannot get anywhere here without proof of who you are, and a copy of your birth certificate is proof. Further, should your name appear in tax records, credit card applications, bank records, drivers licence application or anything to do with any govt, you get on the list. Our govt bodies use data matching technology to track down everything about everyone. So far, at least, there appears to have been no abuse of this power. As for conscription, it was scrapped in 1972 and will never return. Anyone who wants to join the armed services can apply, so long as they are not criminals and pass certain criteria. I cannot understand why Americans are required to sign up for this "Selective Service" (i've never heard of it before). Surely you have the constitution and its amendments to protect you ?? Or is this another face of this "Patriot Act" that I've heard a little about? Comments? -
The problem is that the usual version of the file is 4 megs, but mame wants an 8 meg file. I've actually got the right one, but any attempt to help you would be against the rules. So, sorry m8.

In IE, Internet Options, Advanced, Multimedia, Play sounds in web pages. Does sound work at all ? Like does it play mp3 files or does it go DINGGG when you make a mistake? Is the volume up?

Welcome to NinjaX and RazorM6. -------- Looks like my earlier comments on the death of two sites was premature. They have both been resurrected !

I've been welcomed by a Legend! :swoon:

I'm dumb. I know it now.

Yes the "REPLY is what I was after. It still says Lo-Fi though. Now all I need is some guidance on the attack thingy. In the meantime I'll do some reading of threads on that topic.

Thanks. Most people don't recognise a DALEK. Especially Americans. Now while I'm here I'll ask a n00b question (or two) 1. When I want to quote someone I click on +QUOTE and it just changes to -QUOTE. How can I actually use it? 2. The attack system?? I just got used to the one on a@h, this one is different, do I just go at someone who has less of everything or what? How long till I recover (if at all). Member details give no info at all. 3. At the bottom of the screen it says Lo-Fi Version. Does that mean I can somehow get a Hi-Fi ?

Hi I'm relatively new here. Well it's been a couple of weeks and in that time two great sites have disappeared off the face of the internet. Neoromcollector has gone, and so has playagain.net I am registered on about a dozen other emu forums, so I would expect that someone's seen me around. Now to the post above... 1. If zero posts one month after registration then delete 2. Otherwise, haven't visited for a year then delete.

Thanks everyone, I will pass this on to my colleague.

For MAME 0.89u1: Dead or Alive++ Dead Or Alive ++ (JAPAN) doapp.zip Emulation not 100% (sound) Needs tps.zip Die Hard Arcade Die Hard Arcade (US) diehard.zip Listed as Not Working (sound) Needs stvbios.zip Try this: 20. How do I get Die Hard Arcade to work? Here is what you need: Die Hard (US) Dynamite Deka STVBIOS Mame32 Heres what you do: 1. Make sure Die Hard, Dynamite Deka, and the STVBIOS are in your ROMS folder. 2. Open Mame32 (refresh the rom list if you just dropped the files into the rom folder for the first time), find Die Hard on your list of games (pay no attention if it mentions Not Working, it is referring to the sound and 100% video emulation). Right click on it. 3. Select Properties, then Miscellaneous. 4. Under the BIOS: setting change the bios to the US version - "USA (bios mp17952a)" 5. Run the game. *Note this will make the game run, but it will still run slow on a PC compared to the way it ran in the arcade.
