Sorry, bleeding edge only comes as 32bit. It will work the same as a 64bit and it runs on 64bit computer.

SUBTARGET="mess" gives you MAME with just the MESS parts, and MAME's default UI (the MEWUI thing) SUBTARGET="mess" OSD="newui" gives you the same, but you can enable the white menubar. SUBTARGET="mess" OSD="messui" gives you the MESSUI frontend plus the newui menubar. If you are trying to build 0.174, you need to download MAME source from MAMEDEV, then apply the MESS source changes from the .rar file. Or if you just want whatever is the latest GIT, just download a github zip package and compile that. The program runs here. I've heard there might be trouble on Windows 10. I don't have it (win10), therefore cannot support it.

There's another person who has offered to do compiles. If it comes to fruition I'll post a link.

We've had trouble lately with sending validation emails to new members who are signing up. Those members will be validated manually, so if you missed your email, try logging in with the userid and password you entered when you signed up. It can take up to 2 days (but usually less than 1) to get validated. Don't give up!

Since MESSUI has no more official releases, every so often a "bleeding-edge" comes out. These only have the MESS systems (no arcade) and are 32-bit only. So today we have the latest available. According to the comments on the game is called Dragon's Heaven.

I wouldn't think so. I've added the sounds into the next version of HBMAME. As for the s1 rom, that still remains for someone to create it.

By adding the gowcaizr m1 rom, you get the neogeo tune, and the insert coin sound. The actual game doesn't send any sound commands. While ingame, there are power bars and the usual things that come with a fighting game, but those things are currently invisible and need to be programmed into the s1 rom.

OK, those 3 issues have been addressed. HLSL checkbox, removed. Multithreading checkbox, removed. If you choose AVI, MNG, or WAV options, they will be cleared on exit. But if MAME crashes during the recording, then it won't be cleared - you need to edit the game's inifile yourself.
