  15. Thanks +T+, hopefully you might now decide to resume your small part of emulation. Score: 1 1 The links to his blog have been removed, since they will not assist 1emu in any possible way.
  16. As you may have noticed, BP has taken his leave of the place, so your request has fulfilled itself. Are you happy? What will happen next?
  17. Sorry, the garbage truck has taken it away..
  18. Bin is out the front, waiting for the garbage truck to come around at about 7am tomorrow morning. The 2 cords (power cord & video/audio) will go into my parts collection to be reused for something, but the rest... gone. I have a gameboy and a gamecube that face similar fates... again, got them for nothing, they work, but i'll never use them. At least they have a game each. The gamecube has no controller, so the pokemon game is unusable.
  19. Well what we found was that if a person who never had a blog started one, it worked fine. But those that had blogs before the forum 'downgrade' lost the ability to add to them. So, at least in theory, if you blew away your blog, and started afresh, it might work. Nobody has actually tried that though.
  20. Nah, i have other pc's for those jobs - and they are much more open, not a 'black box'. Oops, another metaphor
  21. Just a stock one as far as i can tell. The hard drive is a Seagate, type ST310014ACE. I did some googling and it seems that (as you said) it needs to be 'unlocked' before it can be used. Now, it is only 10 GB, and nobody uses them anymore, so I figured, what the point? It's still in the plastic cradle as I don't have the screwdriver to release it. So really there is no use going any further. It's all going in the bin now... bye bye xbox. edit: for those who wondered, it cost me nothing, appeared to be working, but no games to test it with, and no controllers. After several months it was clear it would never be used. Now, I have just learned it has no usable parts (not even a fuse), so there was no point ever getting it.
