I wish I could help you, but my experience of xbox is limited to the one my neighbour threw out and I rescued and it works, but I have no use for, and will be thrown out again in next weeks rubbish. There are a number of ppl who hate the place, hate each other, jealous of each other, but yet cannot actually go. I've had to ban 2 of them, and some of the others have seen the light and either behaved or left. However there is one or two who just won't let bygones be bygones, and keep stirring up the dust. As for your question, since nobody has actually helped you, I'd guess there is no answer for it. There is a stickied thread with a list of all emulators, perhaps one of them might do want you want.

Thanks, I wasn't aware of that. Who is the owner? It seemed to be what he was doing. But you are most likely right. True. Honestly I'd rather not have to moderate that section; after all, the rest of 1emulation runs fine without intervention. It only requires that the members who post there could do so in a civil manner and follow the rules like everyone else. I'd probably just have a section for Sega, Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Arcade, Other; and just merge all the subforums into these new ones. There isn't enough traffic to justify dozens of sections any more. Still, it isn't my decision, and I'm not expecting any change.

Posting to homebrews, protos etc is ok, as they were never sold in shops, or used in arcade machines. Nobody is losing money or ever would have. The poster should remove the link after 2 weeks though, as a precaution. Asking for roms is against the rules though. I have removed a few inapproprate links here and there. If you find more let me know (I don't read every post). A warning is when I give an official warning on your "Warn" graph. So far, this was just a gentle reminder, no official warning yet.

Haha what a joke. Waal spent all his time here abusing other members and rubbishing 1emu, then when I silenced him, he started abusing me via PM, so I stopped that. Then, from the reports I received, he setup his own forum and continued the rant. So, whatever he says, just trash it, put him on Block if necessary. Let me know if he PM's anyone else. His reason for wanting the XBOX forum shut down is so he can steal our xbox-owning members. While we have the forum we are a thorn in his side. Continue on please.

OK.. one step at a time. 1. I am not robot (bad idea, that) 2. I downloaded the file then removed the link, anyone can PM to sparda. 3. Nobody has 'shut the project down', it still appears to be going, in a fashion. 4. Anyone can talk about your emulator, as long as its somewhat correct and trying to be helpful. I'm not going to stop fair & free speech. 5. If he wants to offer support, that's fine with me. Remember, no other author tries to censor talk on their emulators. Really, you must decide what you will do with coinops, in your own time, in your own way. I will not be stopping people talking about emulation, which is what this site is here for. Now let's move on.

I have already talked with Sparda and he has apologised and he is keeping his end of the bargain. So I ask that there is no more arguing about things, there is no point and it is a waste of all our time.

I still pop in almost every day. Personally I still do emulation in MESS. But yeah, it's basically all over and done with, there's nothing (except the people) that make this place any better than any other place. btw the xbox drama is largely over, since I kicked out the 2 trolls that were abusing ppl and rubbishing 1emu.

Bit off topic there.. Just to let you know, waal was placed on moderation yesterday, the last chance. However he continued on with his rule breaking, so now he is finished here. NEIL222 then tried his luck, and is now also on moderation. If anyone else would like to follow waal, now is your chance. Megaman(?) for some reason the rule refers to forums in particular, because (it seems) they could be seen as competition. Blogs and other sites can be linked to, as long as they don't link to things we'd rather not know about, or they rubbish this site.

There's another rule: From now, anyone who mentions that other forum will have their post deleted, and receive a warning. You can only talk about other forums if they are affiliates.

Hah! If I was to enforce just those 2 things, there would be not much left, and my PM box would be filled up quickly with the kind of thing waal would send me, until I had to block him. You only have to look at his profile. Some ppl think I moderate unfairly, not really, I only lower myself to here only sometimes, and I don't read everything, just the last few posts. So I might delete some vitriol, or close a thread. Nobody gets the hint, so then I might have to issue warnings or make a temporary posting ban. Some still don't get it, while others disappear never to return. Next thing, as all of you already know, we are locked out of the admin panel, which means we cannot promote or demote anyone. So, although BP is "staff", there's nothing any of us can do about it - even if we wanted to. It's time you understood that. All we really can do is to delete/move stuff, and throw you out of the place. If anyone throws rubbish at the site or admin/moderating team once more, that's where he will go - out !
