there's a difference between "working" and "playable"...here's something from the namco system 22 source
soo..there's your reasons for system 22 emulation* Known issues:* - no emulation of the MCU. The MCU provides sound and input port handling. Proper emulation will
* obviate the need for a great many hacks in this driver.
*
* - no emulation of the DSP processors. The DSP processors are used as slaves to render 3d scenes.
* All current functionality is simulated based on a study of the raw scene description and known behaviors
* of the games running on real hardware. A proper emulation of the DSP processors will provide two things:
* 1. Eliminate guesswork and errors in our simulation. In particular, depth BIAS feature, used to
* manage draw order is fairly complex.
* 2. Allow any game-specific DSP code to function correctly. It seems that the DSP functionality varies
* very little from one game to the next. But each game includes one or more self tests that involve
* custom code. And an understanding of the DSP code might help to fix games like Alpine Ski or Air Combat22.
*
* - the intensity values used with gouraud shading aren't being interpretted quite right.
* Cap of vivanonno team suggests to interpret it in two ways:
* (a) 0x00 <= value <= 0x40 : simple scaling for source color. 0x40 means original color.
* ( B ) 0x40 < value <= 0xff : saturates to white color. (interpolation or add).
* The master contrast fader at 0x90020000 also can be fed such a strong power used for white-out.
*
* - our video driver does not yet handle orthogonal fader controls, or polygon-tilemap priority.
* On real hardware, it is possible to fade the polygon layer as a whole independently from the sprite layer
* or tilemap layer.
* And on real hardware, it is possible for a polygon to be marked so that it appears in front or behind
* the tilemap layer.
*
* Time Crisis notes:
* - some memory tests fail because of MCU/DSP hacks. These can be patched out or skipped using MAME's debugger,
* but even if they all pass, the game does not start up. It may be something simple - missing status bits or
* bad interrupt handling.
*
* Prop Cycle notes:
* - motor output: fan, blows air towards player when flying fast
* - lamp output: start button can light up
* - steering yoke should be analog
* - could use a new analog input port type for pedal speed
* - needs nvmem save
*
* The "dipswitch" settings are ignored - this isn't a bug. The Prop Cycle software
* explicitly clears the chunk of work RAM used to cache the 8 bit dipswitch value
* immediately after populating it. This is done to hide secret debug routines from
* release versions of the game.
*
* When the red namco logos slides in from top right and bottom left during splash screen,
* it is supposed to be translucent with respect to the polygon layer
*
* TBA:
* - fix Alpine Racer (Super System22) - encrypted point ROMs
*
* Special thanks to "team vivanonno" for System22 memory map, and insights on object list
* parsing.

...its not fake, it just so happens that he grabbed her in that place when he did that move. If you wanna see something thats nasty, play kof2002, play as Kensuo, fight against any guy and do Kensuo's throw that you'd do with a punch button...disturbing eh?

pm it to me too please, I don't see it anywhere

ey f*cker!!! don't post those images on the board, they're too big, just link us...cause thats a lot of space.
-
good point, w/out MAME there really wouldn't be a kawaks or nebula or nrx. Its stupid though that kawaks and nebula aren't open source
-
nah, its ok, nm
-
my fav. arcade emu is MAME..but for netplay, my fav. emu is Final Burn Alpha
-
so if it says "sends(0/3"..that means they have 3 sending slots free? damn this sucks, I was searching for anime and all the results that came up were ones with all sends and queves full...that sucks...is there a way to filter searches from ppl who don't have send slots available?
-
Well for me, I just had a Prime Rib and Steak dinner. Damn that was delicious with a House Salad and French Fries.. damn right.
whoaa..slow down Gamecop, that doesn't sound like your regular healthy self
....
..what happend dude, you break up with some chick or what?
-
when it says on someone's status on their sends and queves for ex "sends(1/1) queves(20/20)"...does that mean they have 1 send available and 20 queve slots or does that mean how many sends are going and how many queve slots are being taken up?
-
I guess my valentine's day activity for today has been learning how to leech anime from IRC channels. Seriously, its a pain in the ass. The only reason why getting anime on irc would be better than getting it from DC is because you can't use DC w/a non-gui based server

I'm sitting here un front of the comp with a plastic thing that vibrates.....dual shock 2 controller
-
I'm not an expert in MAME, but how do I access the cheat menu?
push tab during the game and go to where it says "cheats"...make sure you have a cheat file too
-
me...idk, maybe I'll go to the arcade or something..or just get some money from my bank account and spend it on who knows what.....oh crap!!!
, that reminds me, I need 25$ to take the A.C.T...ah well..I'll take care of that tomorrow...
...welp, thats my hardcore loser life....
what are you other ppl gonna be doing?

Cause It can't Play Neo-Geo games.lol
unfortunately, thats just you
ive been playing all the new games (with the exception of KOF2003) on FBA for a long time now. if you could learn to use ROM managers (like CLRMAMEPro or ROMCenter then youll see why neogeo doesnt work for you.
dude, can you pm me the drivers for kof 2001, 2002, and rotd that you're using. Cause I compile and I've been wanting to use those games on it, but I don't know how decryption on fba works

Cause It can't Play Neo-Geo games.lol
WHat are you on crack!!! Neo geo works as good as MAME on FBA

memory=ram, not disk space, then it would've said DISK SPACE. 256mbs of memory only costs like 30 bucks these days

err...my favorite song is "ONE"..why wasn't that a choice..and if you've never heard that song, I suggest you listen to the album "...And Justice For All" which is their best album ever.

..the post says zn-1 games, those are sfex, sfex+, sfex2, sfex2+, Star Gladiator 1 and 2, Rival Schools, etc
-
and those aren't Zn games...they're namco system 12 games I think, not Zn
What's your favorite arcade Emulator?
