Man, I remember the good ol' days before production companies began perceiving emulation to be a problem. There wasn't any of that "no rom requests or else we'll be sued" crap or "hide your neogeo and nes/snes roms!" Although that autonomy was only present for one year when I got into emulation, it was still a good time damnit.

And if they do, their comments are really empty and they lack the passion that was present say....two years ago when emulation was at its peak. You know? Anything can be dangerous if consumed/used/handled/done in excess. I am definitely not saying that I condone the acts of sickos, but I think there would be a drop in sex crimes if prostitution was legalized here in the U.S (while statutory rape laws are intact). (Hell, I would love to go down to a nearby brothel and get some action myself right now, but there aren't any because prostitution is illegal. I think I would definitely get rid of my porn if I were able to pay for sex too.) For instance, many street hookers are abused and raped, but reports are not filed because they would immediately be arrested for soliciting sex. If it is legalized, they would be able to work in an institutionalized environment and they would have police protection like other females professions (and they'd be clean). Btw Shoma, what's with the anti-porn sentiment? With all of the spelling errors and YOSH-AH, etc I think you could use a little self-relief.

I don't know, it was just an example. I just think that there may be a lot of different reasons why they do what they do. You know how strange people can be. [edit] About the comment about it being bad to catch someone wanking to porn: I think it could depend on the porn. I mean with all of the modern trends that involve guys acting in a flamboyant manner, I think religious parents should be the least bid happy, not that you'd be watching straight, les, or female masturbation porn, but that you're not gay. You might be punished, but you'll probably get a steak for dinner or something. Besides, such a thing as catching someone masturbate can teach the person (who just barges in) the importance in knocking before entering someone else's room.

No, I think the nature of pedo's is cyclic. For ex, someone might sexually molest a child because they were molested as a child and they may be see that as a way of not allowing the victim to lead a good life in comparison to theirs. Or they may have seen a parent or another adult close to them perform the same acts and do it themselves. There shouldn't be anything primeval about it.
