  1. No; your speed is usually set by your ISP. There is a way to speed up firefox (old trick) go to "about:config" set "network.dns.disableIPv6" to true set "network.http.pipelining" to true set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to true and set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to a number that's good for your bandwidth (mine is set to 30)
  2. I don't think determining someones gender should be so confusing Well, violence didn't seem like a chick. Just like more a flamboyant guy; like Kyogokugenkiss.
  3. I believe that if more fans became shareholders, then they would listen.
  4. I've been thinking of selling my X-Fi in order to get a more mult-platform card.
  5. Collumns-ui, Album art, and Browser Album art displays...album art onto a child window on the foobar gui Browser gives you a child window with a list of <meta-data element(like Artist)> based on what's in your library. In addition, it'll create a playlist for itself and show the songs for each <meta-data element(like Artist)>. Btw, in order to use either of those you need Collumns ui. You add album art and browser to the ui in the collumns ui main configuration under "layout." You can add tabs, separators, etc. You have to mess around with the layout settings to get the hang of it.
  6. Well, at least it wasn't O'Reilly (O Rly)
  7. Windows: Foobar2000; it's lite and very customizable (something you can only take advantage of if you actually take the time to customize it) This is how I customized Foobar (click). Linux: Tie between XMMS and Amarok. Why? Amarok = nice GUI and good format support, but bad equalizer. XMMS = old GUI (old gtk), instable (it'll crash if you change the track sometimes), but kickass equalizer (EQU). Until ALSA includes a system wide equalizer, I'd still use XMMS over Amarok.
  8. "What's Up?" (Remix) by 4 Non Blondes HEEEEEEEEEEEYY yeah yayyy, I SAID HEY!
  9. There's another vid where that same crazy woman is talking about "god's will," praising 9/11, the war, and protesting the funerals of dead soldiers. I'll try to find it.
  10. nLite works with all XP version I believe. In addition, I would recommend the use of nLite if you're going to do a fresh install of xp from a legal disc (you can never be too sure about those keygens).
  11. The O'Reilly book series'. Yup, I've learned a lot from them.
