I think Rocky music helps in the training to get better.
The more you play, the better you get, simple as that.
Good luck.

There was rumors about this since last years Lollapalooza.
I get so sick of De La Rochas voice...
And if you listen to Morello's solo work (amazing btw), well, I'd suspect to see some of those influences and that might clash.

Isn't Bethesda also arguing with Interplay about the rights to create a Fallout MMORPG?
Oblivion + future technologies + massively multiplayer... hoorah (sarcasm)

Just started Phantasy Star 1 for SMS
These old rpgs never lose their charm on me

Why does everyone hate the jazz music? I thought it was an interesting change from the usual... made the game more friendly and casual. Then again, I'm not the guy going in and using Magneto/Storm/Sentinel because they are the cheapest team you can have just so I can win.

Whats the last emulator you used/worked with/whatever?
I haven't been around the emu scene as much as I should (been working more with the actual systems) but the last emulator I used has to be MAME but before that probably an NES emu on my DS. I'm not sure if games run through my R4 count as emulation but its on a similar wavelength (stealing). The real lack of arcades in the US really makes MAME such a valuable program.

Samurai Showdown, Garou: Mark of the Wolves, Dark Stalkers, etc.
They're all in there, do some research

This is great news, I will definitely pick up this title on live when it comes.
I actually like the jazz music, it fits in an odd way.

"I was totally into him until he asked to join some kind of internet cult!
I know right! WHAT A wierdo"
Make her post her picture on the show your face thread.
She'll love that.
Trust me man, I'm like Hitch.

I <3 Smashing Pumpkins.
Don't think this is better than the original but a good attempt.

I've been tip-toeing with this giril for awhile now and we finally exchanged numbers, she was making it very hard(which makes it more rewarding), first she would seem into me like crazy then, other days, just walk pass me as to see if I would say something or not.
Anywho, finally got those digits in a weird exchange of numbers, but I know she digs me.
The problem is, I never had to wait more than a day to get a call from a girl and just so happens im really into this one so does the 3day rule really mean something by following it? Girls who called me day after, I never thought "ZOMG this chick is crazy! Need sum space" so i dunno...
Invite her onto 1emu and she will love you forever.

I hate people.
But people love you.

I wonder how many there are of balanced mind. Guns suck. Id rather face a melee opponent any day... even a ninja. At least I stand some kind of chance. Kinda hard to side step a bullet. The only reason I even consider owning one, is to protect myself... mainly from other that do have them. Or riotters. Or zombies. Or at an AC/DC concert (HATE)
But also... shooting fire/ nails/ chain out of a shotgun is badass.... admit it.
Yeah I agree (especially about the AC/DC concert). I mean, I personally believe that using a gun is showing a bit of cowardice. It takes anyone to simply wiggle a finger and shoot a gun. If I'm going to have the gumption to take someone's life, I'm going to make it more honorable. Yes...honorable. Doesn't exist much this day in age but I think if you're going to kill, you should put a bit more effort than pulling a trigger. Of course, using a gun on someone who has a gun would make sense. I can't see myself running and stabbing them with a sword before taking a few bullets. A bow & arrow would be more efficient only if I was able to shoot from a place I wasn't seen.
Technology debases honor?
From my perspective it can be a true statement.

Yeah, so many people think I'm crazy but I absolutely loved the feel of the 64 controllers. I really dislike the GC. Maybe it's because I have fat fingers...who knows? It's not my preferred choice. I'm like Will, gimme a PS controller any day and I'm slick as a brick. I also agree with Rag about Nintendo always coming out with unique designs. That's how the folks at Nintendo are..they're always trying out new concepts and I have to admire them for that but I would like to smack the ones who said "This controller works awesome! Let's put these in the market along with the console!" I'm sure they could have formatted a better style controller than what they have. I have never heard anyone (excluding what I've read here) say they like the GC pad. But, everyone has preferences and I will say that I would rather use the GC controller than a Saturn...uck.
I think the 64 controllers were great for the games on the 64 since so many of them had the "awkward" design in mind while creating the game. How else could you burn a whole in your hand while playing the tug of war mini-game in Mario Party?
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like its the same case with the GC. Many of the games feel awkward for me with the GC controller. The Mega Man/X collections are a nightmare to play with that controller. In fact I find it nearly impossible to play X collection with it due to the inability to do several things at once (charge/jump/dash/move) with the GC controller.

I hate the 360 D-Pad too, but it's a design that so many praise with almighty craze about Sega's Saturn/Genesis pads.
Why does the circle-dpad that is IDENTICAL in it's inaccurate state, garner such praise for Sega, but when it's on Microsofts pad it's "crap"? It's flawed on BOTH! I HATE Circular D-pads and all of them, they ALL fail. Saturn and Genesis pads outright suck for so many reasons (Light and flimsy, jagged feeling buttons and that horrid circle-dpad) that it boggles my mind why they get so much praise when they're some of the worst pads ever created.
With that said, the Dpad on the Cube controller is one of the worst, second only to the Dreamcast. It may be a touch smaller, but it's more tactile and accurate than that slippery and sloppy one on the Dreamcast, which btw is also too small.
I too despise the 360 D-Pad and was excited when I heard the news about a 360 controller remake that would have a better D-Pad. Then I discovered that it was actually very unpopular and was only going to be released in Europe. Brilliant.

Post some covers you've heard/seen that caught your eye because they were interesting/well done/better than the original.
I sometimes prefer this version to the RHCP one. Very different perspective on the cover version.

Where we make parodies of all our favorite Emulation moments.

I can understand the Dpad hate on the Cube controller, but otherwise it's a far superior controller to anything I've ever used.
Wait... what? On the GC? or ever? Besides... almost ANYTHING is better that the GC controller. OMFG what were they smoking. Sh!tty bean shaped c buttons, big A little b. Like Agozer says... those triggers are annoying. How the hell can anyone play that new Cap vs whatever game with any decency with it?
"Far superior"... I'm speechless.
Most ergonomic controller EVER, the shaped buttons lend themselves to a new user not having to even LOOK at the buttons, and I think the triggers are far from annoying. They're better than the triggers on ANY other controller. The sloppy Dreamcast triggers, the joke that is analog on PS2 (How does something with NO range of motion call itself analog?), the only one even close to "getting it" is Microsoft.
The PS1, PS2 and PS3 controllers are all the same......SNES copycats with nothing really new. Same goes for the Analog sticks on the Sony controllers, they're far too weak and loose, they have the same piss-poor "Flick it like it's your micro azn male organ" design Sanwa arcade sticks do
Neither is good for fighting games anyway. Shoulder buttons as B5 and B6? GTFO.....
Nintendo always comes up with an interesting controller design. Whether its a flop or not I guess comes down to a matter of preference. Some people still prefer the age-old SNES style controller over more liberal designs. Personally, I like the path Nintendo takes with their controllers, and I don't really dislike the Gamecube one, but the D-pad is horrendous. I suppose thats when they ported games like Capcom Vs SNK 2, they gave noobs the option of having the c stick control every move/hyper move throughout the game.
I think the reason the PS1-3 controllers are all really the same is because the format works. I really have no complaints about the controller other than the fact that it is just plain.

At the end of the first episode of the Pokemon anime, Ash is laying on the ground and sees a Ho-Oh although Ho-Oh was not included until the second generation of Pokemon.
Astounding.

Just replayed through all of GOW1 co-op. I think I heard the name Baird said the same exact way about 100+ times by Marcus.
Paper Mario on GCI love the Paper Mario series, have you tried the N64 one? Too much fun.
-
How exactly will this work? Won't it be very competitive to be the "one"?
-
I think I'll go with Agozer on this one and try out a converter. Thanks for the suggestions people.
If I do it relatively soon, I'll post on how it goes but I probably won't, other priorities.

Your rant reminds me of Chappelle, I don't know why, maybe he said something very similar.
