  1. yeah i know, thats why i asked if they dont play it anymore, i DO actually have the disc, i just bought it at a garage sale, but thats the problem, its just the disc and no box which means no serial
  2. I would go ballistic on my mom jeez, i know that would make it worse, but my PS2!??!! besides, ive had 10 dollar wine and 120 dollar wine and there isnt THAT much of a difference in taste...(free samples at the wine factory in the Cayman Islands!!! they didnt care i was a minor hehe)
  3. yeah, alot of people around here are really rich and they throw everything out (im not rich at all tho hehe) I found a fully working PC in the trash once, i still have it and i use it for classic games (poopie XP doesnt have real DOS) I found a SNES and a butload of games in the trash too, but when i went to grab it, it was all gone They had Street Fighter Turbo in there too! (turns out my friend grabbed it though, so i play it at his house alot) anyway, ill check your shop for the modchip and batteries Cinder, but do you have AV Cables? and do you ship to the US?
  4. yeah wait for DVD rips, or rip it yourself, ripping them yourself isnt that hard, and you can garuntee yourself they will be high quality, oh i love my library for renting out DVDs for free I hade camcorder movies because their usually crappy, and you get all the audience noise in the background
  5. rofl thats one of the funniest things ive ever seen on ebay and ive seen bent paperclips, golden poo, and inflateable churches
  6. hmm, i wonder if all those VCDs and DVDs i bought in Chinatown NYC are counterfiet...
  7. Well, ive been gone for awhile again, because i got this! http://www.consumer.philips.com/global/b2c...uctId=DVP642_17 A DVD player? woopdeedoo you say! Actually its really sweet, It plays TONS of formats, and has played every video i threw at it flawlessley!!!! DivX, MPEG4, etc. Get the update online burn it, and do that, and it should play everything! I only had a problem with one incredibly messed up video i had that was in horrible quality but after i installed the update it worked perfectly. Only problem i had was it switched to PAL after i installed the update, but it was easy to switch back. It supports PAL AND NTSC obviously. It has one of the sharpest image qualities i have ever seen, The only downfall i see to this DVD player is it only goes up to 480P, but its extremley sharp up to that, probably the best ive seen. I got mine for only 70 bucks at wal-mart. This DVD player is like the movie pirates dream, same with the importers dream! Why? Open the disc tray, When the DVD player is booted up, on the remote press 7 then 8 then 9, then press OK, then press 0, then press OK Your player is now Region Free! Its also very very thin, its kinda long, but its very thin which i think makes up for it, no stupid flimsey drive tray like alot of other DVD players too. Woo sorry if this seems kinda rushed, i have movies to watch!
  8. I want to play Diablo 2 Online with my friend, and my other friend gave me his copy, but i dont have a serial for the EXP disc, does anyone have a valid CD key for the Lord Of Destruction EXP that they arent using that they can PM me? THANK YOU SO MUCH in advance, i really want this
  9. HOLY CRAP LUCKINESS!! Today in the trash i found a perfectly good Saturn!!! And its the kind with 21 contacts and round buttons!! holy poo!! Not only was it a saturn, but a 3D controller, light gun, AND standard controller (the remade flashier one) So now i need 2 video cables, and 1 mod chip, anyone know where to get em cheap? (BTW this means garage sales are on in my neighborhood, i found nothing gaming related except for a Genesis for 4 bucks (i bought it, it was BRAND NEW, 2 controllers, 5 games) Its only Thursday tho, on Saturday everyone should be open with lots of new stuff, if you want me to buy and ship something if i find it (ill look for items if you request em) Oh and i also got a sweet new UPS power system for a dollar!!
  10. the insides of your PS2 are barbequeing Cat piss and cooking it in such a way where it will come off in flakes evetually in an oderless solidified cat piss mess Just open it and unplug, then clean with a wet towel, if you break it, it was only 20 bucks, and i bet your wont break it becuase its realy easy to open and close PS2s
  11. Bah, forget Halo 2 and Half-Life 2, and all those other games Doom 3!!!!!
  12. hey everyone, ive been REALLY busy lately, sorry i havent been around its all moving and work and everything around here, moving is too much work! anyway, i just scored a brand new Sega Saturn for 20 bucks! It didnt have an AV cable so if anyone knows how to make one that would be cool but anyway, onto the important stuff, Im looking for a good RAM expansion cart and all the other good upgrades for cheap, i dont want to spend too much money on this because im cheap. Another thing im worried about is, How do i get it to play burned/import games? These games are hard to find, so i want to just burn em, i heard of a swap trick but i cant find it anywhere Thanks for your help in advance. By the way mine is the really old version with the oval buttons and its all black and says just Sega Saturn on the top with that round ball and the S, it was made in September 1995, and if you need a serial on the back or anything let me know!
  13. I bought this game for PC when it first came out and i didnt play it for some reason, well about 3 weeks ago i started playing it again and wonderd why i didnt play it because it rules! /end useless background story Anyway, Does anyone want to play some RS3:RS online? Im talking PC version, not Xbox Version BTW. I have an Ubi.com account, and if it works on Gamespy i have that too.
  14. i wouldn suggest making sure all the screws around the spinner thing are tight, as mine still works perfectly push down on it too, really hard to see if it clips down farther
  15. yeah but if you ever have to have the lid open then you have to fiddle with tape and whatevers under it and stuff this guide just promotes lazyness and by the way use Epoxy LIQUID glue, it usually has two tubes and you have to mix both tube's liquid stuff together, it hardens into plastic, and it works great
  16. I want to make a counter strike server, i already have a server i can FTP to and stuff, are there any server files or something i can upload to that server to make it so it can host counter strike games? Somone help me out, the server is a Linux Server and im on a windows machine so i cant do any decompiling or anything here, just uploading and configuring and junk but if i need to i can use my linux PC at home to do it. thanks in advance
  17. DOes anyone know where to download AIM Bot for Counter strike? Im at a friends who plays this game like all day and we want to play a joke on him and have uber n00b me beat him hehe, so i really need this. Thanks in advance
  18. i heard deadly alliance blew so hard it could Blow golf balls thru garden hoses, which is why i never played it, is that true?
  19. heh, i own my parents in that category because i know so much about it actually, i have a huge binder with around 700 pages on the subject that i made them read. 0wn3d!!
  20. I have a near perfect SCPH-7501, except for some scratches on the top right corner from those swap things made from paperclips and stuff, i should have put something soft on the end of those devices, also 2 of the three clips from the middle thing that holds the CD is gone, revealing that red stuff, although thats how it was when i got it. (it was my friends, and gamestop wouldnt take it because of that, so he gave it to me after he got PS2) and of course the mod i just did/posted has been done to it
  21. sorry the code code command doesnt work very well so the ASCII screw up for the switch drawing, its pretty much a rectangle with a dot in the middle
  22. Are you tired of making those stupid things that hold the button down in your PSX so you can use the swap trick? My brother kept breaking mine and pissing me off, plus they wear out after awhile, and are a pain to align/keep aligned right. So i invented a mod! Go to radioshack and get a PC BOARD SWITCH Its tiny, and should be red (although they had a few black ones) it should have TWO CONTACTS on the bottom, not three. Get some wire (i pulled some copper wiring out of some large wire i had) and get a soldering gun/iron and some solder, some screwdrivers, and thats about it Open your PSX, there are lost of guides to do this, but ill try my best (im in school right now and dont have it with me) Unscrew all the screws on the bottom of the PSX, flip it over, lift the top off, unplug any wires that are plugged into the motherboard CAREFULLY, now unscrew all the screws on the big metal plate over the mobo that had the CDROM thing on it. Now unscrew the board out of the PSX (if its screwed in) There should be a white switch on the top that looks like this _____ - - - - - _ - - - _____ The Dash in the middle is a little black button, Now flip the PSX and under that switch there should be four contacts that look like this.. OO OO Now solder a copper wire to the ones labeled X below XO OX Thats how it was on my PSX, but test it by hooking everything to the mobo and plugging it in with a disc in if you want, if the disc spins while those are connected, it works (i used a paperclip to test) Now in the corner of the PSX where that huge serial port comes out, cut out some plastic, out of the PSX body and the cover clip thing Tape all the wire down with electric tape so you know its not touching anything that isnt metal, (if its on one of the flatwires of the board, they are covered, it doesnt matter, but on mine it was real easy because there was a huge opening of nothing at all going to the serial port, so i didnt have to worry about it touching anything, except i taped it so the wires wouldnt move and possibly touch something) Now get the wires to come out the back (if their too long, dont worry about it) Put everything back together, and you should have some wires coming out the back of your PSX now, Solder those wires onto the switch Bend the wires, and loop them around the contacts, and then drip solder on the loops that are arund the contacts on the switch, then cut excess wire, thats how i did it. Now you if your switch didnt fit in perfectly tight (mine didnt) Put some epoxy glue or slicone or something on the clip that goes over the big serial port. Your done! The advantages? No more swap thingies You can close your PSX lid without having to take out the swap thing, and then put it back in when you want to use it again. You can close the lid when your done with the swap trick and no dust and crap will get in you can open and close the lid whenever you need you and have complete controll over if the PSX thinks its closed or not WHen the PSX lid is closed, the PSX gets the closed signal, no matter what position the switch is in, so playing originals and stuff is easier if you have an annoying brother who opens the lid and makes the game screw up to annoy you, keep the switch flipped, and no problem there!! there are alot of other avantages, but you can probably figure them out for yourself, besides, im tired of typing
  23. Thats the easyest for HIS config, If you have Dialup, use the same method and enable ICS (internet connection sharing) If you have an ethernet port, use a hub
  24. yeah, www.dcemulation.com has apps/guides, and about 3% of games you run into nowadays arent selfboot
