  1. Im in high school too I want to get a Job with Konami/Sonic Team/Capcom REALLY REALLY badly Sonic Team is DEFINATLY going to be impossible though hehe Right now i Sell games (i worked at EB games and it was too crappy, its like gang wars over here, the EB games and the Gamestop are the gangs and the customers do all the dirty work...mostly...its really weird) and i work at the gamestop now (woohoo we TPed a EB games!!!)/3D model for people/write storylines for various things. Everything else i Do (like programming and stuff) I just do for myself though, ive never gotten a request from anyone to do that kinda stuff
  2. Im not sure where this fits because we dont have an online gaming section *cough* so sorry if im putting it in the wrong place How To Get Xbox Live and PS2 Broadband To Work With Dialup This is actually very simple, and I'm surprised this method isn't spreading around the internet like crazy. First, let me clear a few things up for you fan boys/people that think its only broadband for a reason. IT DOES NOT ruin the gaming experience for anyone else because it lags, the servers are set up in a way where only you will lag, and no one else. It almost never lags, not joke, there SHOULD be dialup support, Microsoft is just too damn lazy, want proof? ok! XBOX: Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: NO LAG, EVER Unreal Championship: NO LAG, unless you are on a slow server with 16 people, I achieved going into a 12 person room, on a good server, with no lag. Mechassault: NO LAG, EVER Tetris Worlds: NO LAG, EVER (yeah I know its kind of a bad example, but who cares?) PS2 Every game I've tested that was Broadband only had no lag (I've tested all of them, no joke) the only problems you run into are if you are on a server that is crappy, a server with lots of people, if their are a lot of people using the headset (the headset doesn't lag Xbox...weird...) or combinations of the above. Star Wars: The Clone Wars: NO LAG, I played a 16 player game with no lag, the only problems I experienced was with a 16 player game, that was on a crappy server If you DO experience lag when I said there was none, chances are, you have a crappy connection, or are on a crappy server. If you need a reliable Dial-up account ill E-mail you a user/pass, ONLY ASK FOR ONE IF YOU NEED IT, my email address is Shibathedog@msn.com Anyway, heres how you do it What you need: PS2/Xbox Network adaptor (if you are on PS2) PC With Network Card Crossover Cable (Also known as Patch cable) Xbox Live Account (If you are on Xbox) TV/Necessary hookup cables for console/game/other obvious stuff... I am using Windows XP to do this, if someone knows how to do it with Windows 98 or below, let me know, I haven't used Windows 98 in so long I barely remember anything. First, hook up your console, take the Crossover cable, put one end in your PC, one end in your Xbox/PS2 Second, Turn on your computer, Dial onto the internet, CLOSE ANY PROGRAMS THAT USE BANDWIDTH, This means AOL instant messenger, MSN instant messenger (if it doesn't let you close it, use CONTROL+ALT+DELETE and close the Process called msmsgs.exe Third: In the bottom right corner of your Start Bar there should be an icon that looks like 2 computer screens blinking green, (it should not be blinking actually, but it blinks every once in awhile, if its blinking a lot, something is using your bandwidth go back to step 2) Double click on it and a window should come up, click the Properties button and then click the advanced tab. In the Internet Connection Sharing section, check the box (it should actually be the second box down from all the boxes shown) make sure NONE of the other boxes are checked and press OK, you may have to wait a few seconds now, then click close on the other window we opened earlier Fourth: Turn on your Console, boot into your game, Log onto Xbox Live (for Xbox) or whatever PS2 game your playing, and there you go! It works! E-mail me and tell me what games you've tested, the amount of lag, what ISP you where using, and other information you have. Shibathedog@msn.com
  3. hehe, yeah, ill have to buy it I guess my main idea was to get it without paying, theres something about paying for something that isnt really a game, for the same price as a game, that seems stupid, but i guess there is no choice
  4. haha, did I fool anyone into thinking he actually Died? That was kinda my goal Im going to assume some nerdy dude made a movie about Bill Gates dying and as a result the world ends hehe Ill see it anyway just because watching Bill Gates Die would rule
  5. This is actually showing in Detroit too, im going to go see it soon, it shows Bill Gates being assasinated http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/business/528...0_movie01.shtml Official website... http://www.nothingsostrange.com/
  6. they dont let you link to their guides or something i guess this was the guide http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/dreamcast/f...yo_fever_dc.txt this is how to do it HOW TO GET THE GAME TO PLAY IN ENGLISH Puyo Puyo Fever has the option to have both text and speech in English. Unfortunately, it's buried in the options and is not in Romanji (which would easily let you read the word "English"). So here is a step by step guide on how to get English turned on. 1. Turn the game on (create a save file if you haven't already, or don't); hit the start button until you're on a page with four options in bubbles at the top of the screen. 2. Choose the fourth option (the one on the right) and hit A or start 3. Choose the seventh option (the one immediately below the option that has "Dreamcast" in Romanji) 4. Change both options for English text and speech 5. Hit B to return to the options menu; everything will still be in Japanese 6. Hit B again to try to return to the selection page; you will have a window appear with two options (it's asking if you want to change the option setting); choose the left option and hit A 7. You should be at the main selection menu and everything should be in English now. You should probably return to the option page and save the game at this point so you don't have to do it again.
  7. meh i dont like that show that much, sometimes its funny, sometimes its boring family guy rules tho (its on same channel)
  8. i agree with captain fuku here i dont like religion, ANY of religion, i dont go protesting like a hippy, but if you want, i can post a 9 page article i wrote about how they are all full of crap, ALL of them... Also, i can stomach it, violence rules...
  9. it DOES exist, it has been confirmed at many locations, its just stupid and will probably never see the light of day by the way, it doesnt even have a CD/DVD drive, just the HDD
  10. Yes, Maxell will work, Yes, you need an original (you can buy old sports games for like 50 cents now) Yes, i would reccomend burning in RAW/DAO format because it has never failed me, Yes, I use alchohol 120% and Nero for everything, they should work just fine (although i recommend the latest Nero 5.5 over 6)
  11. I have Puyo Puyo that i got from some website, just use Overnet, i found it on there using Jigle.com, and even the other game that supposedly isnt there was there, but not very many sources, ill DL it and tell you if it works and if it does ill post the ED2K link
  12. yeah, i wanna be able to have a switch, is there a way it can come out of the back instead of the front tho?
  13. uhh I think i used Nero, should i try it with Alchohol? he burned it a few weeks after it was released
  14. i heard it was so exxagerative, bloody, violent, and full of crap, that it was hilarious
  15. damn, its like 15-30 here Sushi in New York rules though, i love New York, one of the best places in the world
  16. Reasons its going to bomb 1. Massive Price 2. Lack of Licensing for games (no company will care, trust me) 3. you have to download the games (who wants to sit around and wait for that to happen? 4. you NEED broadband, 83% of internet users still have dialup beleive it or not 5. EVERYTHING is powered by a credit card, who wants to enter their credit card number every time they want a new game and such? 6. Crap system design, worse than the XBox, its HUGE, and the controller is even more bullshit than the original XBox Controller 7. the games will be HUGE, it has a small HDD, you run out of HDD space, no more games, you delete the game, you have to buy it again, ripoff, am i supposed to own like 20 systems? at the price they will be? Do you have any idea how many games I own for all my systems? try 200+ that would probably mean i would have to have 50+ systems 8. It has to always be online, sucking your bandwidth away, no online, no games, simple as that
  17. i HATE when the min share is like 50GB, who wants to share 50GB of crap? Not me!!!!
  18. thank you very very much guys Also, my box travels alot so will i have to keep realigning it?
