Heh, I was playing a game today and when I went to save I noticed the date was 09.09.09, I shot up into the air from my couch and screamed DREAMCAST!!!! at the top of my lungs. I guess my brain thought it was the launch day of Dreamcast all over again for a second. Then I realized there was already one in front of me. That would have been fun. So much disappointment followed. It's still thinking...

True, a lot of old games actually have the copy protection removed with a patch. Civ 4 recently had it's CD Check removed and that game doesn't use a serial, so I guess you can just steal it and play it online now.

I'll have to check that out, I've only seen the regular version. That was a pretty weird movie.

Even if they where to do any bombing, why would they have to use nukes? Smaller strategically dropped bombs would be better.

I remember there was one part where somehow me and the AI character where separated and I had to cover her from up top some ledge and it took about 15 tries because she kept wandering into areas where I could not see her. so the zombies would follow and I couldn't do anything about it so she kept getting killed.

Yeah and if you want to play the game online your SOL because cracks don't usually work online :/ Securom actually released something called the Securom Removal Tool that works. Keep in mind it has been updated a couple times and the first couple versions didn't work all that well so you might find a lot of posts about that while looking for it. I can confirm it's legit and it won't just add more DRM The reason you had it and didn't know it is probably because you accidentally ran a securom executable. See if you remove the DRM, and you launch the game, it will quickly re-install it without saying anything. Cracked .exes don't do this though.

CCleaner actually does a very good job of cleaning out your registry among other things. I'm too stoned to elaborate any further right now, but if you are looking for something use that. A lot of those programs are shady as hell.

Does anyone else find the part in spinal tap with the sandwiches as funny as I do? I was ROFLing when I first saw that. I agree about Crank 2, the first one was way better, I started getting really bored at the end. Anyway lately I watched "Life is Hot in Cracktown" just because the RZA is in it. I didn't really expect it to be good but It was worse than I thought it was going to be. Some messed up stuff happened but it still wasn't any good. There wasn't a single RZA song in it (or any actual rap songs for that matter) and the RZA was in it for about 5 minutes. The movie was missing a storyline as well. It was basically just scenes of people in the ghetto. If you try hard enough you can sort of see a message in it, but it's a stupid message. Boring and shitty. Avoid. I watched District 9. It seems like this could be a decent series if they turn it into one, it shows potential. As for this movie on it's own, it's not terrible but it's not as good as everyone is saying either. There isn't much of a storyline, without spoiling anything it's basically: Aliens landed on earth years ago and can't leave. Now they all live in one big sectioned off area. People don't like being around them (fights, etc.) so now they are being moved further away. While serving eviction notices (the aliens can talk) an important figure has something happen to him that causes him to need one alien's help. The alien also needs help so he helps alien, movie ends with cliffhanger. See all that important stuff happens very quickly in the beginning of the movie, then it's just action sequences for the other 3/4ths. Also the promotional material made it seem like there was going to be some kind of alien attack, This never happened. Those pictures you see where it says "No Humans Allowed" where nowhere in the movie, Only "No Aliens Allowed" because the humans are definitely in total control still. It's all pretty much just defenseless aliens. (although somehow they still manage to have/find alien weapons in a 20 year old containment camp that gets searched all the time, and for some reason none of the aliens bother to use them) I also watched Bruno. It was funny and I liked it. You can tell a lot more was staged this time around but it doesn't ruin the jokes because all the staged stuff is pretty much just shock humor so it doesn't matter. If you liked Borat because he demonstrated intolerance to foreigners and you are expecting him to demonstrate intolerance towards gays, don't bother. He does do it but he doesn't do nearly as good of a job this time around. It's only funny because it is ridiculous.

I'm gonna get it just because I never beat it on consoles. I played it a little bit at a friends house on PS3 and it seemed pretty meh though. They try WAYYYYYY too hard to make it co-op from what I saw. The co-op puzzles are half-assed and stupid. For example, You need two people to open most doors, why not just make it one and save time? That isn't co-op its just annoying >_<

Oh yeah I forgot about that, Malwarebytes is very good. I would give it second place. Easy to get the full version too. The only difference between the full version/free version is real time scanning if I remember right though so you don't really need it unless your trying to parents/gf/friend proof your pc.

It works fine off my USB stick, but for some reason the screen just stays black if I try to launch it off my memory card. I have tried re-copying the file, still doesn't work :/

Spybot search and destroy is the best, make sure you update it first. Then do the Immunize, and then scan. The Immunize will block a lot of stuff before you even get it (mostly adds spyware servers to hosts file for blocking). It's completely free too.

yeah, it seems to screw itself up eventually even without viruses.

It should be, I got it off usenet though. I like how he plays football with his friends. The sex scenes are great because if you look closely they are all the same sex scene, it just keeps replaying the same shots for the entire movie XD

haha! This is a sticky so I get away with gravedigging! I was about to make a thread but it would be kinda pointless. Anyway, Is there a better way to play backups now? Burning them to mini-dvds or something? I have a few but I'm sure you need some kind of software mod at least if not a chip. It seems like most of the stuff required to play backups mentioned are hard to find now. I can't find SD media launcher anywhere.

The PC version is perfect in every way, graphically it blows away the console versions, everywhere else it's exactly the same. You can even use that wireless Xbox dongle thing with it. (That's what I use in addition to a PSX>USB adapter so two people can play)
