yeah it should support 2.0, but remember, 1.0 is actually VCD and 2.0 is actually SVCD not many programs use the numbers anymore. and a tip MAKE SURE YOU USE DIVX 5.10 WHEN YOU USE THE ABOVE TOOLKIT I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH!!!! I used 5.11 and it didnt work, it sucks i know, but you dont really gain anything except stupid new icons and useless features you wont ever use from 5.11

just check consolevision or dcemulation, they have some that let you save and run at almost full speed and sound (you wont notice trust me) and just click on them all and it says in the description how well they run once you get to the site they also have excellent tutorials

uhh im not sure which one i use but it lets you save and it runs almost perfect i either got it at Consoleviseion or DCEmulation

ok, for those of you who have broadband or a non dreamcast compatible Dialup ISP or no internet at all (how are you here?) or some other weird situation i can help you out I have a list of about 15 working accounts that are fully PPP compliant and fully Dreamcast compatible, each account has a username, password, and Dialup number (you dont actually need to enter the DNS servers into your Dreamcast) The dialup numbers are the numbers that came with it though, you will have to get the dialup numbers yourself, but its not that hard, i got them all for my area in a separate file, its easy to get them yourself, if the login name is BobJhonson@Cheese.net, then go to Cheese.net and look for your local dialup number, i was able to find them all for my area you should be able to also these accounts are all for the US, or at least i think, i dont know anyone outsite of the US who will probably bother to test them there. Anyway bottom line is 15 Free accounts, find your own access numbers (REALLY easy to do), And your have Free Dialup on your dreamcast, Pc, PS2, Hell anything that can go online with dialup!!! well if its only one track its not going to work, there MUST be a 6 second audio track and then the data, the 6 seconds can be anything you want but must be exactly 6 seconds (this is that "Warning, this disc is for use only in Sega Dreamcast" Error you get when putting the CD in a CD Player) sometimes they give you the files in the right format and you can just burn them but this has been rare for me, usually i get raw files that dont work without this or an image that either works (most of the time) or doesnt because the person that made the image is an idiot and did it wrong STUPID GEOCITIES!!! sometimes people just throw files in an image and do it wrong so you have to make it selfboot also you NEED this for raw files, because then youd just be throwing the files on a CD the wrong way hehe

Ive uploaded a good tool to my crappy webspace at geocities, if its slow, its their fault, but its not that big a file anyway, its pretty straightfoward, use Selfboot.exe for making plan files into Selfboot images and Sbootrick.exe if your burning something like an emulation CD (i think it renames the files for you, i forget exactly) If you need the plain files from an image go to www.megagames.com and get Daemon's Tools, or use Alchohol 120% or whatever you want to have virtual CD-ROM Drives, then copy and paste the files over to a folder Or use whatever program you want to just extract the files (ISO Buster i think works sometimes) Anyway you just put all the files into a folder and then select the folder with this program, DONT put the folder in the same directory as this thing Anyway, onto the download... http://www.geocities.com/shibathedog/Selfboot.zip

Megaman X6, its at my local blockbuster ill rent it and rip it for you because i want it myself anyway, but be warned either you can get it from me on my dialup and it will take FOREVER or you can wait a little longer and ill try and get on a Broadband connection (i have like 8 places to go for broadband when i need it hehe) but im not entireley sure if i can get it for you, your best bet is to probably just look in Romster Hub and ClassicSega hub on DC

yeah he is in PAL region hehe There is a way to get PSO working in US but not on a large scale, you pretty much patch the image and then if you have a bunch of DCs on a network you can all be together, ive found this patch and it supposedly works but i havent tried it, i really should though. That virus thing sounds like crap, because from the sense i could get out of it the things that where happening are impossible, you can infect a GD-ROM with a virus, and if you got a virus on the DC as soon as you turned it off it would be gone, also this sounds like it was only happening in Japan if it happened at all. but i think its complete crap personally because there where impossible things happening there hehe, especially since the GD-ROM ISNT PC compatble and ugh...just so much crap in there hehe

you can find them other places for cheaper though if you use google, i got mine for around 12 bucks including shipping

ive read this before Nero 6 does work well, but the latest 5.5 is the most successful, easier to use THERE IS A FLAW IN THIS GUIDE!!! DO NOT BURN THESE IMAGES IN /96 MODE THEY DONT WORK!!! BURN THEM IN REGULAR DAO MODE!!!! Every time i use /96 mode they either dont work at all or are a pain in the ass to get working, every time i use regular DAO mode, they work flawlessly. Just a warning...

Well My old Xbox broke (dont even ask how hehe) and i just bought a new one I got the controller S with Tetris and Star Wars blah blah 2 months xbox live whatever anyway now i have some questions, Can i get Xbox live to work on Dialup? I know it will be slow i wil mostly be using it for content downloads anyway, I was thinking of dialing onto the internet with my PC then using a crossover cable from my xbox to PC and then maybe the Xbox would think it was on a cable modem?let me know if this works and ill try it out, or if anyone has any alternate solutions (besides getting broadband...im sick of dialup im ready to start killing people hehe jk jk) please let me know! ok good, slide card and boot disc are better because 1. Theres no mod chip to detect, so all games will always boot 2. It doesnt edit or BIOS or any crap like that so when you play online then no one will know anyway, If its an OFFICIAL game and it works in Epsxe then it will work in your PSX, im not sure about PS2, if you have the slide cards then it should work Any homebrew/custom games SHOULD work, but theres no garuntee, Epsxe tends to have better compatibility than the real PSX nowadays hehe, but just try it, it should work if it works in Epsxe theres just no garuntee

try to open the first file (should have the number 1, 01, 001, etc. somewhere in the name) Windows will not know what to do with it, select the option that lets you pick a program from the list, pick WinRAR (or whatever you use to open RARs, i use PicoZip because it opens every compressed file there is about hehe) It should open right up in WinRAR however i only tried it with PicoZIP, now just extract the contents somewhere, burn, or do whatever your supposed to do with what you got, and your done

hmm well to activate the cheats you just go into the menu and then pick your code and press start repeat again for second code and third and fourth....etc its a pain in the ass if your going to use alot of codes and your internal memory was only reset or the internal battery is only dead/dying, if it asked you to set the clock every time you boot your DC, or just very very often Leaving your DC plugged in all the time keeps the internal battery charged and this usually fixes it because eventually it will be charged again, leave it plugged in and dont play it for at least 6-8 hours (its really hard i know ) but even rechargable batteries die after awhile you might have you open your DC and take out the internal battery and try to find a new one thats rechargeable and the same kind, or if you can find the right voltage try to solder some batteries to the contacts because finding one of these batteries is VERY hard...or at least for me it was

nope, i boot burned games with Utopia Boot disc all the time, but i like DC_HAKKAR better because it boots more games faster you dont NEED anything to play burned games actually, some of them boot by themselves, their called Self-Boot, if its NOT self boot i try the following DC-IE DC_HAKKAR Utopia Boot Disc 1.3 Gameshark Lite Action Replay CDX Gameshark...umm...the latest one, with that bigass memory card (i rarely use this one hehe) I have an assload of DC games so i need them all hehe If none of those work chances are you burned it wrong, also try it at least 10 times, sometimes your DC decides to be stubborn but after you get it to boot at least once it doesnt seem to have problems with it anymore...weird....i should recalibrate my GD-ROM again i think.....

ahh i found something else out while cleaning my DC... if you want to clean the crevices in your controller (you know, the big round circle one) or in the DC, Pipe cleaners work very very well as they bend to the shape and you just move it back and forth and it gets pretty much everything They also work well in other places
