What image did you burn? Game? App? More info...Ill try this out and come up with an explanation My current guess: Either 1, your PSX is retarded or something because this isnt supposed to work, or 2, Alchohol 120% Creates the bad sectors in the disc by burning dummy data over and over in the same place on the disc destorying the sectors making the PSX think its real, or 3 there was some dust on your CD or Laser in just the right places hehe

actually id say where pretty close to DC emulation ive seen Soul Calibur running on a server that was running at about 4.7GHz, and at the rate where going with processor/video cards id say by the end of 2004 I mostly like PC games more than Console games too but i have to say i like the Dreamcast and older systems the best, well maybe not counting PSX, I know they can run on the PC, but theres somthing about playing the actual thing thats better, i dont mean i like playing and original instead of a CD-R, i mean playing with the original consol controller and everything. Theres just a certain feeling to it, specially the reasurring feeling that you know its going to work 100% correctly hehe and the older systems are like 40 Bucks tops and the games are like 30 tops, so you might as well get them, because ive seen consoles for 10 bucks and games for under a buck...WAY under a buck...like 10 cents

its probably easier to use Alchohol 120% to burn actually and there are CDI to Selfboot coverters floating around i think its on megagames.com not sure, if you cant find one PM me and well work out a way to get it sent to you if i can find mine an easier way to do this is burn the Utopia Boot Disc, preferably 1.3 because it works on VGA and everything looks nicer on VGA then you can just burn your CD and if it doesnt work then you just use your boot disc to boot it (providing you burned the files right)

not neccessarily, ive seen pretty bigass games run at almost full speed if all the files are extracted to the emu CD it can be run FROM the emu cd without it being stored completly in the RAM you know, thats just how the Windows one works

The PS1 emulator doesnt have very good speed or sound it runs at like 8FPS MAX or at least the one i have does, just wait, someone will fix it

yeah theres no final version of bleemcast but you can find things that do almost the same thing anyway i would like to see this beta version as i have never used it. Is there a way you can send it too me? I own all three of the bleemcasts but i would like to play chrono cross on my DC...i wonder if it would work with burned games...

there are several ways, one find a CDI to Selfboot Convertor (i think theres one on megagames.com if not ill look for mine i have it somewhere) two, use a bootdisc, i like DC-HAKKAR and Utopia Bootloader 1.3 three find an SBI file and an SBI patcher and use them, theres an excellent guide on how to do so on dcemulation.com there are other ways but its not worth it because these are much easier if you can figure out how to do any of this on your own (its not that hard really im not kidding you just gotta find the crap you need) then post again...

you only have to do BIOS flashing on Xbox UNLESS You buy this one modchip (something lite V2) then it works like the following Put Disc In Game Boots Thats how ALL modchips work unless you buy some crappy one FOr PS2 i recommend the MAGIC 3 or 3.5 Modchip FOr Xbox I recommend the Something Lite V2 modchip (no BIOS Flashing, soory i cant remeber the name if someone knows it post it) Or the Matrix Mod Chip (needs BIOS flashing) For Gamecube, there IS a way to burn them there are guides and programs floating around and you have to buy this special discs, i bought a burned game from a shop near me and it works with no modchip so i guess you dont need one For Imports on gamecube, DONT BUY A MODCHIP, just use the FreeLoader Bootdisc You should ONLY get a modchip If you have the Panasonic Q but Lik-Sang sells them pre-modded so i recommend just doing that For Dreamcast DO NOT BUY A MODCHIP Burned games boot without a chip, some require a bootdisc (that you can burn) some dont, EX. Selfboot/Non-Selfboot For imports, you can burn Import enabler boot discs, you dont need to modify your Dreamcast in anyway to play burned games/imports

I have a better method of doing this Download the VCD Toolkit, it has a guide and tools for making ANY movie into a Dreamcast VCD AND it makes them selfboot/VGA compatible its EXTREMLY easy and it WORKS!! if anyone wants it contact me

yeah i tried the bootdisc technically it does work but technically it doesnt it sits in the dreamcast and a progress bar goes up VERY slowly for about 8 minutes and then says "insert Virtual On Game Disc" im guessing it loaded some crap onto the ram so it would run and is only compatible with that single game So technically you can but not every game unless you have some special disc like this or a patched game or something

Blue Bottom Discs are regular CDs other games are DVDs (silver or gold bottom) that should help or just look at the size of the files

yes you can i have a boot disc that lets you do it, i burned it wrong and it doesnt work but since i have an excuse to now, ill burn it right and if it works ill upload it somewhere

yeah Nero 6 is crap, the only thing they improved on was VCD Burning which isnt much better... i say get the newest 5.5 and for everything nero doesnt support the latest Alchohol 120% and for VCDs...well theres a bunch of good ones out there
