I took a look at God Hand again, The game I have was definitely uploaded as a joke or something (I got it not too long after it came out from who knows where) because it looks WAY worse than the screenshots I saw of the real game. The graphics on the real game don't look THAT bad, but on the copy I have they are like N64 era. Maybe someone did this to get it to fit on DVD 5? Although it seems like people usually just re-encode the video files to a lower bitrate. In fact the logo for the title screen was completely different from what I have been seeing for the real game, Could I have somehow downloaded a beta? I think I'll try this out again because I read it's a real good beat em up style game. So are there any PS2 exclusives that are real good that are not RPGs? I know you listed a few, but I dunno it seems like that's all the PS2 is good for when you have an XBox and a Gamecube. I've never been real big into them, I always get bored/annoyed with them halfway through. I'll definitely try a few of em out but I can't say for sure if that's not going to happen again. It is very hard for a turn based RPG to be fun for me: FF7 Bored me to tears and I hate it more than any RPG, FF8 pisses me off with too many random battles (every 2 steps! I counted!), FF9 had completely retarded characters (you spend about 1/4 of the game watching Vivi whine in a corner), In fact the ONLY turn based RPGs I have ever liked where Skies of Arcadia and Grandia 2 and even though I liked Skies of Arcadia I never finished it either. Action RPGs like Zelda/Colossus/what I've played so far of ICO are my type of RPG. I guess I like the adventure element more than the combat element. Though I must admit Dragon Quest 8 is great so far, it doesn't seem like was made more complicated than it needs to be as a selling point and doesn't seem to take itself too seriously either. (The absence of 12 year old japanese girls making that drawn out UUUUUUUH noise/generally squealing every two seconds is nice too) Maybe I should just play some RPGs that are less Asian, Does anyone else even make good RPGs lol? It could be the Fantasy setting as well because I've never much been into that although even in modern RPGs they usually manage to cram some retarded fantasy crap in with the modern stuff. I don't minds swords and stuff as weapons but I'm not playing everquest damnit!

Damn nice responses! I beat God of War but not 2, I have it downloaded but I don't have any DL DVDs >_< I tried to play God Hand a long time ago and I don't know if I downloaded the wrong game or what. It was one of the crappiest games I have ever played, and I heard all this ranting and raving about it. The controls/graphics/combat/sound/everything was all so bad. It was like this weird wild west game. I didn't get much farther past the first boss fight or whatever before I stopped playing it. I'm actually attempting to play Dragon Quest right now, It seems pretty fun, not too complicated either. Beat Devil May Cry 1 and 3. Beat Gungrave (Played most of Overdose but didn't finish it, BTW The anime series didn't seem that bad from what I watched) Beat Shadow of the Colossus (downloaded ICO) Grandia 2 I beat on Dreamcast, Do you think the 3rd one is worth playing? I have it but never played it. Beat Ratchet and Clank 1, Can't find any good downloads of the rest besides crappy Deadlocked Arena ATM, maybe I'll just pick em up at the store for cheap I remember the first one being pretty fun. Kingdom Hearts I can't put up with, I tried, I guess I miss out Fatal Frame 3 I'm trying to beat the first 2 first but will definitely pick that up. Beat We Love Katamari and Katamari Demacy I have Wipeout Fusion (I can only find Pulse in PAL, I have to figure out how to convert PAL games to NTSC somehow) Zone of The Enders 1 I finished, I REALLY want to play part 2 but this is another game I can only find in PAL SSX 3 is cool, I always liked Tricky Better though, I have it coming in the mail (got it on Amazon for like 2 bucks) I have Guilty Gear somewhere, I think it might be X2 Reload though. Ace Combat does look cool, I'll probably get Armored Core too for a more futuristic fight (I never got into Armored Core but I liked ZOE and I liked Mechwarrior so I figure it will be fun) I'll check out the rest of them for sure, I read about a lot of those RPGs today and they all seem pretty good, I prefer an action type RPG like Zelda more than a Combat Menu system type thing though so it looks like ICO would be the best of few choices. Some of them I still want to play though, Like I said I'm playing Dragon Quest right now. Thanks!

What do you guys think are the best? I decided to play my PS2 more.

The Pirate Bay taken down...again

I'm not getting too excited about that backup. People did the same thing with Suprnova and if you remember all the Suprnova mirrors where crap and died quickly. Suprnova was probably at least as big as TPB if not around the same size and if they didn't have the support they needed to keep it alive on its own I doubt TPB does. Then again hosting/bandwidth has only gotten cheaper. I think it will come down to how organized they are about it. As for Mininova going legit, Who cares? What fool uses Mininova anyway? It is THE most monitored torrent site. I said in another thread I knew 15 people who got DMCA notices, I'd say at least 12 where Mininova users. -
Getting exploit save onto memcard

Thanks I got it to work. I used my Swap Magic 2.0 DVD to boot a swap magic 3.8 DVD which booted the file browser so I could launch the installer. I had a bunch of images/ELFs that didn't work for whatever reason of swap magic that where making things difficult. For some reason Using a burned Action Replay DVD just gave me black screens too. -
http://www.downloadsquad.com/2009/08/24/ar...sh-authorities/ I can't get on it either, can you?

http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/24/esrb-rat...nhunt-2-for-pc/ I hope it comes out, mods will make it even crazier. I never played it on consoles though only the first one.

Yeah they can but I think there is some kind of encryption, I haven't used it in years so I don't really remember how well it works or anything. Usenet is the shit though it's so fast and has everything you could want. It's like the ultimate video/everything else on demand service, I canceled cable. Usenet is cheaper and better than cable. If you want the link for the 11 dollars a month plan google it and it should be easy to find or I can PM you the link. If you don't plan on downloading that much sometimes the block accounts are a better deal where you pay a certain amount of money for a certain amount of GB that never expires and once it's used up it's gone and you can buy another one or whatever. -
I forgot about Dead Rising 2, and there is going to be a PC version! Which means there will probably be ridiculously awesome mods. Me and my friends have been playing a lot of Monkey Ball Deluxe/Tiger Woods 07/Top Spin on the modded Xbox, odd games I know, although I have always played a little Monkey Ball. They are all pretty addicting but I guess we play them mostly because they don't require much effort and it's easy to relax and play.

That did happen but things have moved on because the trackers no longer belong to them. I think the deal actually did go through but I'm not sure. Basically I read an article proving that TPB trackers and global gaming factory's trackers are the same. Just two URLs that go to the same place owned by GGF. I think I also read that the new GGF URLs are being put into downloaded torrents already. Even if the article was bogus, It's still a public tracker which is reason enough to warrant avoiding. -

I know a lot of people that have been in this situation, fortunately I myself have never been caught by taking the right precautions. Here are some tips which may help you: For the next month or so I would at least calm down the downloading (mainly large downloads since it's usually obvious p2p traffic), Supposedly they are a lot more likely to bring you to court if you get one right after another (I read you need 3) but I haven't seen anything to support this. It seems to be just random to me. Either way it's better to play it safe. If you do not have a wireless router, GET ONE, If you get a letter saying you must go to court turn off MAC filtering and any wireless encryption, make sure to turn off all logging as well. (usually off/low enough by default on consumer routers) This way they cannot prove it was you. It could have been someone using your wireless. I read of a couple people that got away with it because of this. Call your ISP, let them know it wasn't you downloading the files (blame it on anyone, say it was a friend's friend who came over, a neighbor, even say you don't know) and apologize for the inconvenience. If you don't feel comfortable lying just say you have deleted the file and you are sorry. Say that the website you downloaded it from made it sound like it wasn't illegal because many of them do. Maybe even say you paid to download it lol they will think your an idiot but who cares. Ignorance is no excuse but it usually makes this conversation go easier/the ISP is a lot more sympathetic than the law, especially since they still want your business. Look into enabling encryption in your torrent client Look into anonymous networks like TOR. I tried this and honestly it sucked ass. It was unbearably slow, public trackers are just not worth this nonsense. Look into setting up IP Filtering, Don't listen to people who say these are useless. They are not bulletproof but they do help. If they cannot connect and prove you where actually transferring what they say you where they can't do shit. Just an IP Address is not enough, so these DO help assuming the IP is on the list. Personally I only use private trackers, I do use Demonoid on occasion but I don't trust it too much, I only use it if I have to. Demonoid is like a semi-private site. Oh and STAY OFF TPB AND ITS TRACKER, It is not owned by the same people anymore. Even torrents you get from other sites, check it to make sure none of TPB trackers are in it (you can remove them if there are other trackers available) Consider other means of downloading. I know I'm pushing Usenet again but it's worth it. You can't get caught. 256-bit encryption is no joke. You can put it through port 443 so it looks like web traffic (besides usage patterns) as well. Everything I do on Usenet from searching to downloading is all encrypted. There is no uploading either and apparently uploading is what you get in trouble for not downloading. Speaking of encryption, when you go to torrent sites see if they support HTTPS, Chances are they are not monitoring all your browsing but just to be safe All things considered, you are probably fine, I know about 15 people who got these letters, Only one had to go to court, and it ended up being dropped or something. (no one settled on anything it just went away) -
I think it looks stupid, I would rather have the regular one. It isn't really very small either.

Be careful what you believe. The Pro Vegetarians use the same tactics as the Anti-Abortionists. (ironic no?) Showing things from old practices that haven't happened in a very very long time. A lot of it is just gross shock factor too. I don't know about this Cove movie but I've seen a lot of animal cruelty clips that weren't really that bad because while there was all this disgusting shit going on the animal had been long dead and died painlessly so meh.
-
Looks neat! I'll try it out.

Ha, well I didn't want to be that blunt.

When you find this place on the internet where these problems don't exist, be sure to let me know. Although I'd have to agree with what others have said, Most of the people on here are just screwing around. In fact everyone is, the only people who weren't are banned. I wonder why that happened

They added mass stuff to UT3. I don't quite understand the Titan mode though, It seems like once you go Titan there isn't enough room for you to move in most levels and you just kick insane ass and no one can really do much about it.
-
Everyone says that yet it's the only one I could finish. Don't get me wrong the 2D ones are the best but I never had the patience to finish them. They are just boring :/

Need qucik fix for shitty boot up problem.

I really want to avoid going into detail to avoid mentioning things that are illegal, and I'll admit out of lazyness but basically your activation is NOT going to last. I don't know why you posted that as evidence against me, because it only supports my claims. There is no proper crack yet, but there will be one eventually. I never said it was never going to be cracked if that's what you thought, I just said your going to have to wait a bit longer. You will NOT be able to stay up to date with Windows Update, and your activation eventually WILL deactivate due to phoning home or various other ways. It does not matter which method you are using to activate at the current moment, because none of them are bulletproof. It does not matter if they cannot deactivate your BIOS hack, they can still deactivate your activation. About modifying your BIOS, incredibly stupid thing to do. I'm not even going to bother explaining. It's not as bulletproof as you say, It CAN be detected. (I can think of 2 ways right now just off the top of my head) MS just isn't pulling out all their tricks at once, there is more to activation this time around, or there would be a scene release by now, the scene doesn't just sit around with their thumbs up their asses. They are incredibly dedicated and without them you wouldn't see 90% of the pirated software you see today. The last thing they want is to be beaten by some "P2P Lamer" so they will have it and they will have it first. -

No, You are wrong, Windows 7 cannot be fully and completely cracked yet. The Lenovo Key HAS been blacklisted as well as other keys, Proof: http://www.downloadsquad.com/2009/07/31/mi...dows-7-pirates/ The anti-piracy protection in Windows 7 is a lot more complicated than you are making it seem, there is much more to it than there was with Vista. You may have a copy running right now that says it's activated, but it isn't going to last long. -
Damn... Activision is putting the screws to me.

That would be cool, I haven't seen any acoustic looking guitars for GH/RB I wonder why they aren't more popular (or even if any exist) -

If it is Guitar Hero Johnny Cash then aren't all the songs Johnny Cash? Kinda like that Beatles Rock Band or whatever. EDIT: Duh, re-read the article, Guitar Hero 5 -
CoCo I forgot about her. Even though they are nothing alike, this somehow reminds me of Sugarfoot from Adventures in Hollyhood.

Yeah I remember reading something like that in the IND files, the IND BIOS comes with a program that can generate a cfg file which is nice because you don't have to edit all that by hand. Maybe I should try it. I wonder how you are supposed to figure out which animation is which number without a bunch of trial and error. (I noticed mine randomly changes the bootup too, I'm not sure how many there are though)
