I'm starting to play tons of Xbox 1 games. I have a modded box and almost the entire library is on Usenet There are only 2 or 3 games I can't find and I'm sure it's just a matter of time before they get posted. I could always just head down to Game Swap because they have tons of cheap xbox games. I'm trying to collect every Xbox game worth playing that doesn't have a better PC version, I even grabbed some of those anyway because they had decent multiplayer. I skipped the games like Metal Slug that I have an emulator for too.

So how do you play games on it? Aren't there not any actual buttons?

I finally got around to watching Firefly. I can definitely find some things wrong with the show (most of which are FOX's fault) but no matter how many I find I'm still pissed off they canceled it. Oh and didn't even give them a chance....If I where Josh Whedon I would NOT sign anymore contracts with FOX. Still didn't really like Serenity though. I guess it was slightly better now that I watched it actually knowing what was going on but it's not nearly as good as everyone says.

Yeah I considered getting a touch too. It's also just too damn expensive, you get 16GB or whatever for the price of a 120GB+ player. I miss my PDA, I had badass apps on that thing the iPhone still can't touch (I downloaded/pirated like every app I could find onto a big SD card), I could browse the web and all that. I even overclocked it. The skin I had made it look like the PDA from Doom 3 Unfortunately one of my dumb ass friends stepped on it and broke the screen.

I actually go out of my way to do as little modification as possible, If I can get away with a swap disc/trick or a softmod I'll do it. Not because I don't like soldering but because those mod chips are a serious ripoff. They are worth like 5 dollars at the very most. Especially since you don't ever need one with the Xbox, just softmod, flash TSOP, restore HDD to stock/remove softmod. I will do modifications like adding better cooling a lot though. A lot of just for fun stuff too. The Saturn swap trick is a bitch though. You have to be FAST.

Vista is fine now. There are still some things XP is better for (like if your computer is a piece of shit or a netbook) but really, it's been fixed for awhile now. Anything you see/read is just old info still floating around/being reposted and people talking shit because of the reputation it has now. Vista is doomed to forever have a bad rep no matter what happens to it. Gaming wise there are a few games that actually run better in Vista now, and I know certain video cards run better overall under Vista too. Not by a huge leap or anything, but still. Not to mention the networking in Vista destroys XP's from both a performance and security standpoint. I could go on listing more examples but I think you catch my drift. The easiest thing to do would be to just run linux off a live CD until you have time to fix it. Even if you don't know linux just getting on the internet and all that is pretty straightforward. If your worried about large downloads run something like Damn Small Linux which is designed to be small, I can't remember any of the other distros that are designed to be small but there are a few. Some of the distros just happen to be small. Or if you get the NETINST version of Debian it's like a live cd that only comes with the bare minimum and when you install it you can pick only what you want and it then downloads it for you. You could always just install next to nothing.

So I have a TV that supports NTSC and Progressive PAL but not regular PAL or Progressive NTSC. WTF?! It's like they couldn't make up their minds when they made it.

Don't some PAL games run crappier than NTSC because PAL is a higher resolution and they where optimized for NTSC? I'm still pissed no one agreed on a single standard. Because no one did in the US we get a lot NTSC videos that run at 24 FPS so they are easier to convert So we get the lower framerate AND the lower resolution. I guess HDTVs solve all this but still. (60FPS w00t!) Hey maybe you can help me figure out this TV I ended up with, on the back it says "FOR CANADA ONLY" and it has Composite, S-Video, and Component inputs. Here are some modes I have tested: PAL50 - Does not work (PAL 50 is basically default PAL right? When I start up Xbox games in PAL by accident it doesn't work and I get a rolling image) PAL60 - I vaguely remember having some game that had this option and I think it worked but I'm not sure if it was modified to actually be NTSC or something. NTSC - Works fine NTSC + Progressive Scan - Does not work Connected to PC Via Component 640X480 - Works 720X576 - Works It's that 720X576 that confuses me, Isn't that progressive PAL?

lol yeah I have a piece of shit phone. I would probably consider an iPhone if it was a LOT cheaper, they aren't that bad once you unlock them assuming they fixed all those stupid annoyances. I heard they finally added copy and paste+ some other stuff. Someone told me you can't send picture messages or there was some problem with it, Is that still true? Maybe it was just his though. I dunno though I have never bought into phones that cost more than like 30 bucks. I would rather just have a shitty phone so when it breaks or If I lose it then it's not a big deal.

What I meant was maybe the family left the child with this woman knowing she would do something like this for whatever reason. I'm not sure if she realized what she was doing was wrong. If she had, it would be pretty difficult to eat/continue eating her child. In which case she is pretty high up there on the batshit crazy scale. If she was really that insane she would have been perfect for the family to take advantage of to get what they wanted.

Well it obviously isn't the correct way to get rid of a baby. Do you really think people don't try to kill their own babies to try and get rid of it? That shit happens ALL THE TIME, and most of the time it is very easy to make it look like an accident and they get away with it. Pretty sickening shit.

hey hey now he was just screwing around, After all, anything said here in this topic isn't going to help the situation or change anything. Unless we where going to organize some kind of protest or something. Also this is the internet, poor taste is nothing new here and that was pretty mild in comparison to the norm. Anyway, I think your right about the family, Something smells fishy, like maybe they did it on purpose to get rid of the baby, which is pretty sick. There are definitely some details missing here and it wouldn't surprise me if this is what they find out. Although they probably won't because women get away with everything. The law is very biased and women have a definite advantage over men. I typed out a big post about this with a lot of examples but I didn't post it because I thought it would be too offensive.
