The situation has not changed since then, BitComet and BitLord are forever banned until they change their unfair filesharing ways uTorrent IS banned on some private trackers, Why? That whole privacy issue thing, Versions 1.6.something and above where banned for a long time, Once everyone stopped being paranoid and everyone found out what it was many trackers unbanned it, but some still have it banned from then, and probably just haven't gotten around to unbanning it yet. This is a small number of trackers, but can still be a pain in the ass.

Thanks a TON man, It didn't work at first with just the mamedox platinum 2 saves, but I figured it wouldn't, after copying the newer saves over everything works perfect. So I basically did this Deleted everything Copied Platinum 2 Copied Platinum 2 save Ran Platinum 2, Did Romscan (just in case) Copied over Arcades Ran Arcades, Did Romscan (just in case) Copied arcades save Ran and again did Romscan just in case So my guess, is that it is required for you to have run Platinum 2 at least once, I did a bunch of extra steps, but oh well it works now. The weird thing is the way I did it before, I don't think the romscan thing was showing up, maybe I just glanced over it though. Or was that added into arcades and since I installed it wrong apparently it didn't upgrade fully or something? Oh fantastic emu BTW, all those stupid controller issues I was having with FBA-XXX Pro are gone (although if I knew what I was doing there was probably a fix). So much easier to play fighting games now.

yeah the java thing sucks, but if you have the RAM and CPU I'd use it. Just don't play any games while its running Azureus is also not banned from any private trackers.

I never added any roms, I'm using ONLY what came with Platinum 2, and the arcades update. Ive tried reading FAQS, I'm not a total retard, I even added the missing files from my romset on my PC, Which lets the game load and launch, goes through the neo geo garbly screen test stuff, and then black screen. What I really need is a DAT file to go with clrmame or something. Xbins wasn't letting me download anything for some retarded reason last night (I could browse, but downloads just wouldn't start, could be my client though, I just installed it and haven't configured everything) I'm pretty sure the romset im using right night might be crap since it was from a public torrent tracker. I mean, I could keep browsing forum post after forum post, going through shittons of dead links, and reading FAQs that go nowhere like I did last night staying up till 3:30AM+ doing so. But ya know, there might be some better solution or answer that isn't in any official FAQ, which is why I decided to ask here, I prefer advice from a community I know and trust because I've been a part of it for years. Theres probably no more knowledgeable single group having to do emulation on the internet. So much for leniency, 5+ years and I still get the stick it up your ass n00b response.

I'm pretty sure that won't work either. There are things you can set up on PCs that can get around this problem, But I don't think there is any software for cell phones available sophisticated enough.

If I'm understanding your connection correctly then yeah pretty much. Unless there is an option on the phone or something which I doubt because a phone is not a router - but who knows with phones these days. What your doing is connecting your cell phone to your PC and then using the cell phones internet connection on your PC right?

Okay so I tried disabling some things and now it says files are missing. I downloaded MamedOX Platinum 2 and it came as an ISO, I extracted this with Extract X-ISO, and FTPed it to my xbox. Didn't ever run the program, or copy the saves from the original MamedOX. I then copied over the Arcades files, but I DID put those saves in the right folder. So did I screw it up by doing it that way? Or did I download some garbage release of MamedOX Platinum 2?

Is this that stupid ass site that just annoys the flock out of and harasses all the real emulation sites for stupid immature reasons? Why does it exist? I can't seem to find anything on it thats actually funny. The HTML scripting is broken as flock too I can barely navigate the page. emu-lmao indeed, what a joke

haha yeah the protector had a messed up storyline, it jumped around so much in random ass ways. Even the fights where like that but it just made them more bad ass. When is Tony Jaa coming out with something new!?

Azureus if your computer can handle it (at least 768MB but I would recommend 1GB of RAM, decent CPU) and you know a lot about networking by FAR, but even if you don't know a lot about networking there are TONS of support articles/guides online. uTorrent is second best though, best choice if your computer can't do Azureus, hunt down an older version (I think 1.6) because supposedly they are spying on you now (but I think people are just paranoid) BitComet/BitLord share unfairly, banned on most trackers, don't bother Bittornado is good, nice and basic and small like uTorrent. You have to open a new instance for every torrent though. There are more clients that are good and also terrible, but those are probably the most popular

Never used MameDOX, only FBA XXX Pro, Just switched from that to MameDOX Arcades, annnnd need a little help Everything is installed fine, But I can't get KOF 2003 to play which worked fine in FBA-XXX PRO. I do NOT have any sort of RAM upgrade in my box. Anyway its saying its running out of memory (Malloc Failed) So what exactly do I have to adjust to get the game to play? Is there some type of way of configuring it that would make sure all the games play? Or are there games on here that just don't play?

since when where any of the Def Jam games that great though? What did you really expect from a Def Jam game? I played a little of the original, and completed the entire fight for new york, but only because I got them for free (Oh and Method Man is in it haha), pretty meh games :/

oh and don't forget to load linux on it great way to learn linux/have an efficient machine on the cheap. (If you aren't going to play any games on it, USE LINUX! Its way faster for anything desktop/work related) EDIT: Try going to newegg, going to the laptop section. Pick a decent processor from the CPU TYPE, and then hit search, then use the price box to find something in your range. Picking the CPU type pretty much eliminates all the celeron crap. Core 2 Duos are nicer but WAY more expensive, You could easily get a Mobile Athlon 64 X2 or Turion X2 for 600. keep in mind ram upgrades for laptops are pretty cheap too, so get a model that skimps on ram or something to save money and just buy some and your probably still saving money

the frame is basic but the material its covered/backed by isn't, It was pretty expensive to frame and I couldn't really afford anything besides basic white after being suckered into that stuff by the "evil acids/uv rays are going to destroy your poster" speech. Now that I think of it....THATS why the green lettering doesn't glow under a blacklight, How cool would that look? The Plastic on the front is filtering all the UV!

indeed, I agree 100% and I've always hated watching movies on small screens. Its just annoying, if not for the artistic aspects, the technical ones. depends a lot on what your going to use it for. You can definitely get WAY better spec'd computers for like an extra hundred maybe two hundred dollars from dell and hp and all them though. Smaller ones with WAY better battery life too. I think your really only supposed to consider this if cheap is the number one concern. Like you needed to buy a lot of them or something.
