Hmm i'll have to get back to this thread after I've thought about it more, But I thought I might add that CoD4 is kind of wearing off for me. It is a great game, but does anyone else feel that way? Its probably due to the huge flood of good games right now though, Unreal 3 kicks ass

Yes, You could go for the e6850, but you save a lot more money getting the e6750 and overclocking, The 6850 and the 6750 have similar limits when overclocked, so the like 100 dollar price difference isn't really worth it I think. Also since your getting a Dual Core this opens your options a lot more, A lot of boards can overclock the dual cores great but fail on the Quads. Assuming you want to stick with Nvidia/The Possibility of Dual GPUs, you should check out the 680i SLI chipset based boards. Which unfortunately seem to all be around 200 US and up. ROFL at the above posts though

Don't download K-lite OR GOM. GOM is NOT as good as everyone says it is, Download the CCCP, It comes with Zoom Player and Media Player Classic, obviously all the codecs you'll ever need too. I can't really decide between the two, they both work equally well, whatever you prefer, Zoom Player definitely looks nicer though. If for some strange reason you still can't play it (impossible!) VLC is always there.

Oh wow, very clean/efficient, I like that very much. I will probably be using these whenever I get the chance to put them on my xbox. Including the photoshop files is an awesome bonus too! Thanks a lot man!

indeed, but thats the point I think. I THINK you still can play PSO online, but it requires an additional monthly fee with Live. So its kind of pricey compared to other methods of playing PSO (The PC version is definitely still online right?) Since I made this thread I modded my xbox, Is there any ways to play with that online? Obviously XBConnect/Xlink Kai work for retail/backup/import games, but what about emulators? Do people play emus over those too? I haven't had a chance to do anything online with my modded xbox yet besides internet radio and the weather haha.

I haven't read much of this thread (may have even replied already and forgot about it) but my 2 cents to the matter is that if you learn your history, your going to realize one horrifying fact about the U.S. It's becoming EXACTLY what it stands against, what it was created to oppose, and what the original founders didn't want it to be anything like. Man im just interesting to see what the environment is gonna be like with some higher end hardware in the mix. The PC version is probably going to look pretty damn good too since they didn't have to keep everything relative to the PS2 I think I'm going to get it for 360 though because of the content downloads (im so lucky to own a 360, I get bonuses like this, the opportunity to possibly spend more money on the game! )

flocking n00b! haha don't be too hard on the guy I know him in person and he sucks at the internet When you get an archive like that its like a big Zip file but split into separate parts so its easier to transfer. Open the first one (it will end in .r01, or .001, or something like that) and you'll be able to extract it, its probably going to be an ISO file. I think I put Alcohol 120% on your computer, open that up and pick mount image on the left (or right click the virtual drive on the bottom and click mount image), then your probably going to have to follow some instructions that should have came with it. But this is like a demo right? Stealing games is bad, Don't do it. (you'll get in trouble if you talk about piracy and stuff here)

Well I think I figured out what the issue is. It makes sense too after looking at it more closely. I read this mostly on the official Xbox forums. Everything is indeed faster/smoother, EXCEPT anything that requires a connection to Live. My 360 is acting goofy when I bring up my friends list during a game/check a message/mess around on the marketplace/etc. Well apparently MS is trying to roll out updates like they usually do but this time without shutting down Live for 24 hours. (Server updates and console updates at the same time with a new untested rollout method? Whatever MS if thats what you feel like dealing with) and this is causing live to act like this. Apparently updates are done by small regions and I'm lucky enough to be in the region currently being updated, so by tomorrow or something everything should be fine. Have fun when the updates start in your region! haha its seriously terrible, sometimes when I go somewhere on the marketplace it will just sit there with that 360 with the dots around it loading icon thing until I get too pissed and stop it. Definitely latency issues and not the system itself. Which is weird because online gameplay is still fine according to my brother (I haven't tried it yet) xbox.com is acting weird in certain places too.

Okay well see you have a case here, because your talking about them breaking into your house, there are a lot of situations where it probably would be your only option. This guy on the other hand, I don't think he really does, He left his house, to shoot someone on someone elses property. No signs where given that they where coming onto his property/into his house. If your neighbors weren't home and they where being robbed, would you go out of your way to kill them on the off chance that they where coming for your kids next into your house?

Eh see I disagree there too, Macs used to have an enormous software advantage, but now that all the adobe products are on PC too, not so much. It still has a software advantage for all that user friendly crap like garage band, but professionally, about equal. So your back to deciding between actual OSes.

What garbage that we have to keep old Win98 crap around for XP. Well try downloading some form of linux and using that for format, Linux shouldn't give two craps about what forms of windows are on there. Actually see if you can just delete the partitions with the Linux disc, then shut down and go with the XP disc from there. Linux doesn't do NTFS natively so you would have to format as FAT32 which would suck. (No files over 4GB, screw that)

Is anyone else having troubles after the update? My 360 is slow as crap now and freezes a lot >_<
