hmm good Idea, I hadn't even been taking TV shows into account. This paper is going to be easier than I thought. The hardest part so far seems to be filtering out directors that made like 1 cult status movie and that was it. Can't believe I forgot to mention David Lynch!

Been waiting SO long for DivX support on 360, I heard the PS3 is getting it too. See now if they would do more stuff like this there would be less reasons to mod So anyway i'm going to try it again when I get home, But i've never been able to get anything streamed to my 360 properly, probably because it won't let you enter anything manually which is total garbage. My PC can see the 360 fine, but my 360 refuses to see my PC, They are both connected to a WRT54GS router running in client mode on DD-WRT (Everything plugged into it gets an IP address, internet is received through the wireless) WTF is the deal here? Is it because my PC is goofy and has two ethernet connections at once? I can FTP to the Xbox fine which is plugged in the same way, hell even two modded xbox's plugged into the router have no problem automatically detecting each other >_<

If they are threatening lives its a different story, but I still think there are methods to deal with the situation that would avoid anyone dying. Go ahead, beat the crap out of them and tie em down till the cops get there, break their arms and legs if you have to, but don't kill anyone. I know a few people that have been to jail numerous times. Funny thing is, for some of them 1 time was enough, the stupider ones it took a couple visits to jail, but eventually the end result was the same in all of them. They are all scared as flock of jail now and really paranoid about doing anything illegal, they do NOT want to end up back in there. No matter what the situation, you won't end up totally flocked, like the thing with the car you mentioned, There are ways of getting a new car or at least monetary compensation for a new one. Its going to be a pain in the ass but trust me its gonna be way worse for the person that flocked up and stole your car. If i'm remembering what disk indexing is correctly, its a garbage service that doesn't work right and you should disable it anyway to save system resources. It's the service thats supposed to help out the search feature right?

WTF? Don't pay money to RMA a card thats crap. If its covered under a warranty like that you shouldn't have to pay anything for any reason :/ I own a sapphire card right now and I had a feeling support would be less than fantastic seeing as their cards are so cheap, but I didn't think it would be THIS bad. No wonder everyone insists on evga/xfx - fantastic support/upgrade plans. Reminds me of Linksys, I just can't put up with them and their piss poor products anymore. (Their routers have had the same chips in them for over 6 years now, custom firmware is pretty much required, because they have abandoned anything that isn't crappy DRAFT N, screw draft tech, where they are winning all these awards for customer support I have no idea because its by far the worst i've ever had to deal with, and unfortunately I get to deal with them a lot since so many people buy their crap)

So i'm writing a paper for my EMB class about what i'm calling at the moment pop culture directors simply because I'm not sure what else to call it. What i'm trying to do is write about directors like Spike Lee, Quentin Tarantino, Kevin Smith, John Woo, Oliver Stone, etc. and analyze the trends in the movies they direct. Can anyone maybe suggest something I could search for that would make finding directors like these easier? It's just way too hard to try and pop them off the top of my head, either that or maybe suggest some? Thanks a lot.

ah okay, I think what you have there might be an upgrade disc as opposed to a full install disc then

mine was about 620MB, so depending on what version you have that could be right. Anyway when you format/re-install it WILL get rid of those user accounts. When you boot from the XP CD it will ask you where you want to install windows, and give you a menu where you can select various hard drives/partitions, You want to delete every partition on the hard drive, (I think you press the L key, its something weird and random, read the text on top it tells you), then create a new one, and it will then give you the option to format the partition if I remember right. Try a different disc, that sounds like it might be a sketchy copy if its really not giving you the option. That or format using a free linux distro disc because then you don't have to go to possibly illegal places to get it.

So a human life is equal in value to some crap you bought that would have probably been returned anyway? I know it sounds like people are getting away with flocktons of crime every day, But the fact of the matter is most crimes are solved, the media is biased and likes to make a bigger deal out of people getting away with it because it gets them better ratings so it only seems that way. By media I'm not only talking about the news BTW. Apparently the cops showed up minutes later anyway, Theres no way these guys would have just ran off scott free. Its pretty damn hard to get away with any physical crime nowadays unless its for something that isn't really worth much.

You know, lately you guys have been getting me to realize some things about tattoos. I think maybe I'm pickier than I thought about them. Almost dated this chick recently with a bunch of tattoos, I never really looked at them that closely because they where in places that are usually covered (legs/shoulder/etc) but going through some pics....eww....plus thats going to look sick as flock later on, especially the ones with words that will probably become unreadable. Even if they got re-inked it would still look kinda weird.

I think I figured this out, Depending on what area I focus on first determines which way I see it. This is probably because I do a lot of animation and i'm looking for things only an animator would. I can't help but do it either :/ for instance if i look at the hand or something I determine which way its going and then logic fills in the rest. same with the shadow/foot/hair/etc.

There have always been way too many FPSs. You just have to be able to weed out the good ones from the run of the mill crap. You can usually tell which ones are actually good and which ones are hype machines just from demos. EDIT: Wait what the flock? Crysis ugly? Give me directions to this ugly part of the game so I can see it for myself. Im pretty sure there was something wonky going on. Crysis is one of the few games I've played where every aspect of the game graphically is on the same level. With most games certain parts look way crappier than others, especially console shooters (to save memory heh)

Biggest turn off ever - I have to be able to act completely myself, and change nothing to be around them. crappy rule most of you may be thinking, but I'm sick and tired of games and bullshit, I just don't have time for it anymore. I'll put up with your BS if you put up with mine. Not that they have much to put up with, I'm extremely easy going/laid back, I act goofy sometimes, but big deal, get a sense of humor biatch. As long as they fit into the criteria above, have a cute face, aren't flocking hideous I'm game. Not too picky anymore as i've realized at this stage in my life none of it leads to marriage or anything serious anyway, so why should I care so much? That super fast talking/constantly on the phone thing is annoying though, but most girls are like that I guess so whatever. I just want someone I can chill with ya know? Unless the guy was recording the call from his cell phone somehow and then posted it, but he doesn't sound smart enough to do that and the police don't just share this kind of stuff.

Yeah, what I'm guessing this program does (especially with the line about the US DoD) is it follows the standard procedure the DoD uses when they dispose of a hard drive. So what its going to do is re-write random data to every sector of your HDD 7 times. Effectively erasing every bit of data on the HDD to the point where it cannot be recovered. So yes, your OS, and everything you've ever put on the HDD will be permanently erased. Will it damage it? No, but thats a lot of wear on an HDD, If your HDD is next to dying I wouldn't run this, otherwise you should be fine. If you just want to format it and re-use it or your not really that concerned with someone going through all the bother of trying to recover your data, there are other less time consuming tools available as this is going to take a long ass time, especially if its a big HDD. If you want to go this route, let me know and i'll post again, Are you running the OS from the HDD that you want to format? or is it a secondary drive? Also do you WANT to delete the OS?

I don't really have a problem with macs besides their ridiculous prices. You can always change the OS later. It used to be a problem with their crappy architecture but not really anymore. Personally I don't like OSX though, I can see why some people like it, but I find it to be far from efficient for getting work done. Theres just so much bullshitting around on macs to get things to work right I don't even want to deal with it. I had the "privilege" of using one of the new G5s or whatever (The super expensive desktop line) for my web design/animation class and it was such a pain in the ass editing on the mac that I eventually dropped the class. Which probably had more to do with the crappy mac to pc support (I had to do some work at home obviously). There where a ton of little pain the ass things about it though that added up and just made it impossible. Such as the way the mouse moves, I will never be able to get used to that and draw anything with that, even with mouse smoothing entirely off I couldn't get the damn mouse to move right. I like my jerky mouse movements. Someone told me its just the mighty mouse that does that though and if I had brought my own mouse in it would have been fine, but what a pain in the ass that would have been. I just don't like the weird organization of the whole OS. It reminds me of Vista where its trying to be TOO user friendly and ends up being way less efficient for power users. Then again I will never ever ever buy a pre-built PC ever again. So I'm only taking laptops into consideration which are all overpriced to begin with. (which is why I STILL don't have one for college which sucks)

A lot of users have fantastic luck with the Asus P5K line. Get the Asus P5K Deluxe if you have the money, If you want to save some (the only difference is a slightly inferior cooling system to the deluxe - which basically limits your overclocking by a small amount which you don't seem to be too concerned with anyway) get the vanilla P5K. The only drawback/advantage depending on how you look at it, is this board as well as the one you selected use the P35 Chipset, you have an Nvidia GPU selected, and this chipset does NOT do SLI, however it DOES do Crossfire, So if you want to go dual video cards later on down the road i'd pick out an ATi card. If you want to stick with SLI/Nvidia go for a 680i board, the evgas are fantastic, just pick one that suits your needs, that or go with an Asus. I use the Asus P5N32-E SLI, Fantastic board, its the same thing as the Striker Extreme - you can even peel off the label and see where it says Striker Extreme under it, but without all the fancy lights/screens on it. Lots of cool mods for it too. (There IS a vdroop mod and one for more VCore as well as a few other less significant things)

before I watch this and get pissed off is this a list of what IS the top ten fighting games RIGHT NOW, or is it another stupid list where they try to take things like impact on the gaming community into account. Which simply can't be done fairly.

Well their old boards sucked but their boards with the P35 Chipset/pretty much anything compatible with a core 2 duo/quad are fantastic. They are usually among the top overclockers too.

Gigabyte boards are awesome, I usually end up with either an Asus or a Gigabyte, DFI is awesome, evga makes some good boards as well. Anyway, none of that looks like bad stuff, but what is the PC going to be used for primarily? Gaming? Do you want to overclock? and not to drop names or anything but I post at another forum called BlazingPC thats great for this stuff, search around for info if not join. EDIT: Oh and BTW, That 8800GTS you have selected is the 8800GTS with added pixel shaders, which is the first enhanced revision, Recently another revision came out that uses the G92 chip - an entirely new chip also used in the 8800GT, and is currently the fastest card you can get besides the 8800 Ultra in some cases.

what the flock, I hate these flocking games people play with relationships. blah im trying really hard not to rant about some crap that recently happened, I think I already posted it somewhere anyway, and it doesn't matter anymore. ALTHOUGH ITS STILL crappy THAT THIS GIRL I MET AND WASTED MONEY ON IS DATING MY BEST FRIEND. I seriously don't even care about the girl anymore, I'm just flocking pissed about all the money and gas I wasted on her. Her best friend was hotter/a better fit for me anyway though, and I think my friend liked her at first, So when I flock her, its like 2 way revenge, and I flocking win. (and I don't feel bad about hanging out with this chick while liking her best friend more anymore)
