What they should do is just release it for PC and use some kind of digital content distribution so they can have whatever the hell they want in it.

Does anyone know if the Guitar Hero 1 guitar will work with Guitar Hero 3 on PS2? It worked with 2 so It should but just making sure.

If Gears Of War on PC is anything like the 360 version, Its just above meh. For me its Unreal Tournament 3, and Crysis. I'm ready for both (minus PhysX card, which I think I won't bother with anyway unless I have extra money or something...lol extra money I wish) Hellgate: London looks cool too, Theres a new Painkiller coming out, but I played the demo and it wasn't that impressive (the new guns are WEIRD) so I'm still on the fence with that one. Call of Duty 4, flocking AWESOME, picking that up, as well as the new FEAR expansion. The new Turok is probably going to be a must buy too. and thats everything I want that looks awesome and has a solid release date assigned to it. There are more. (anyone here heard of Dead Island yet, holy SH1T that looks awesome)

I heard the 360 one is buggy/laggy. Any truth to that? I wouldn't worry about it though as its probably something easily patched. (which reminds me, they said they are updating the source engine to be multi-core compatible, I wonder if that applies to the 360 too)

I'm pretty sure its legal because I'm also pretty sure they did this intentionally (they would have patched it by now like with that kiosk disc before if it was an accident) It's weird though, you burn the game and the disc won't run but the demo just shows up in your demo menu like it was on your hard drive. It kicks you out after 4 songs too. awesome game though, the new songlist looks fantastic too, can't wait for this, a little disappointed at the version of the final song they used (Devil went down to Georgia) but meh its all good I heard the new guitar is awesome from a friend who played with it in a gamestop, haven't tried it myself though. He said it seemed more responsive and sturdy. (hopefully its more like the PS2 one, I liked that one better than the 360 one)

thanks for the help everyone, I ended up just downloading a retail C (I couldn't figure out how to just extract it from slayers, and I've never used slayers so I didnt want to accidentally click something i needed a chip installed for) then i FTPed in, deleted the C drive, uploaded the new one, and re-softmodded The retail BIOS works fine now, still not sure how exactly this happened though :/ I still haven't tried a backup yet though. Ill try the method above with some games I have discs for, I also have an ISO of a game, I should just extract it to a folder right?

Adobe Premier Pro is awesome, i use that but if you want something a little easier to use (but produces the same quality results for this particular use) try out Ulead Video Studio or whatever its called. It has some decent editing tools too. Windows Movie maker is alright, but its really fussy about formats, and takes unnecessarily long to complete certain tasks, its kinda buggy I think too because no matter what computer I'm using it on it usually crashes at least a few times :/ but that might be because when i edit things they are usually massive files of different formats being stuck together. BTW when you capture from your camera, if you don't want to lose any quality make sure the capture format is UNCOMPRESSED, like MPEG or something, Its going to be a HUGE file, but when you convert it to a DVD and all that it should fit. If you pick a compressed file it has to encode it and then you'll have to re-encode it later for DVD, and every time you re-encode something you lose some quality

damn right! arguably one of the best RPGs around, not just the best Dreamcast RPG but it's a great RPG at it's own rights. Need moar Aika and Fina <3 :3 Yeah, this game was fantastic, Skies of Arcadia and Grandia 2 are probably my favorite RPGs, I don't even like RPGs but these games where still extremely fun for me. I never got around to finishing Grandia 3 but it seemed pretty awesome (corny dialog aside, but then again thats part of the fun with RPGs )

yeah but it usually just mean going around that part of the wall. It always seemed pretty intentional too, like certain walls where armored. The floor usually wasn't though so you could go that route

hah i remember most of those (Goddamn those NT bootups where annoying) the 95 and 98 ones where pretty cool, I remember when i upgraded i changed it back for awhile for some reason and then stuck with the 98 one. (the sound i mean)

yeah that sounds pretty bad, ive never even heard of having the same smell in your nose for more than a day (or at least untill you washed your nose out) maybe they where spraying for something and it got in your car somehow, I don't think simply smelling something like chickens/chicken crap would do this.

I second the Splatterhouse sequel. I dunno, there are so many games that deserve sequels that I can remember from back in the day. Whenever these topics come up I usually suggest Red Faction. That game pretty much solidified my obsession with PC gaming forever. Don't know why, it was just fun as hell.
