I don't really mind the adbrite things so much (although it is annoying when you accidentally mouse over them) It was those full page ads that cover everything that where stupid, but if they are gone now i guess all is well. I don't really even remember if i modified my hosts file to do that, but i know i dont have any ad-blocking software installed (although im assuming opera comes with it or something, it comes with everything else)

hmm, well a second scan is still running (Spybot Search and Destroy found nothing, ad-aware is now running) But i figured something out thats pretty weird The ads appear in firefox, They do not appear in IE, and they do not appear in Opera. and the only thing i have installed for firefox is that alternate skin, no other plugins or anything (although i tweaked some settings) I also tried changing the board skin and they are still there. UPDATE: Scan finished, still nothing :/ weird- and i cant get it to appear on any other site

im not too sure if its my PC because its not happening on any other sites. and if i remember right it was doing it on one of the PCs at school. ill run some scans just in case though

I think the ads here are getting slightly out of hand, and by slightly i mean completely out of control. What is this a torrent site? I dont have a problem with ads, but as soon as that full page one showed up, and all those stupid annoying mouseover windows, i became really annoyed really fast. I can't help but think its only a matter of time because i start seeing ones with sound (OMG!!! NO WAYYY!! i think emo peter is one of the things that made it stupid, they just did that for some trendyness points which was pretty low.

I would recommend Quake 4 but the multiplayer is a joke. (You cant find any servers to play on, but when you do its awesome) What a disappointment being a diehard Quake fan anyway, Thats some hard criteria, all the games i play are at least a few years old because they all suck ass now.

What a cool looking movie! I need more of this stuff! The visuals are amazing.

oh god, the controls where horrible in ninja gaiden - THATS why it was frustrating if the damn controls worked right it wouldn't be so hard. (someones going to yell at me for saying that) But maybe the Wii controller is what it needs Looks cool but im not crapping my pants over it, ill rent it or something if i ever get my hands on a wii

I bought this like stretchy latex-ey tube stuff from the hardware store that i stretch over the end of the vacuum cleaner so that doesnt happen. Plus it concentrates the suction and works better. Its probably horrible for the vacuum but i could give a crap about that

ultimate seems like a waste to me, i would get either Business or Home Premium, whatever is cheaper. Its just slower and not as compatible as XP ATM, Eventually it will surpass XP, but since everything is optimized for XP and all that right now, of course XP works better. I don't feel like offering any more explanation than that because im tired.

sounds like Quake 4. Its next to impossible to play online unless you want to play in the same 20 servers all the time. The built in server browser doesnt work AT ALL, the beta patch will find you like 10 games if your lucky, but makes the game work in the weirdest way (it has to change screen resolution all the time and stuff, its really clunky and weird and inefficient) and with XFire....well you have to use XFire (which sucks because for some reason UT2k4 wont open while XFire is open, although they have patched it a bunch of times since then and i haven't bothered trying it again) Theres better server browser tools than XFire but its pretty much all the same.

i've been out of the MAME loop for soooo long (Im still getting over the death of mame.dk) but i pretty much liked all the side scrolling hack n slash games the best, those and the fighters. I can't really remember any atm though that aren't extremely obvious.

He did have a long toungue but he was like this huge angry guy that worked out all the time and was huge, that was one thing i DID miss from the comic books. Venom was always a cool character. Still, i wan't a Punisher 2.

how the hell is your (Magnis) case only 9C? its usually between 26-34 in my case depending on the weather (it gets REALLY hot in the room with the computer because of all the electronics, i've seen it hit 36 at the highest) as for the rest of the temperatures i can't tell you off the top of my head because im not at home and i cant check.

they have little paper-ish filter things you can put over your fans to prevent dust from entering, they are like a dollar or so each, pick some of those up. For me i just vacuum it out every once in awhile. The dust on like the sides and stuff doesnt really matter, just vacuum off your mobo/anything actually electronic - but if you can get the rest it prevents it from possibly moving there later.

They have very little ads, but billions of clicks/loads/whatever, so it eventually adds up and they can afford it. Plus some of those sites have premium membership options and stuff like that.

they have scripts/contracts all the way up to spiderman 6 if i remember right, it might have even been 8. i think what they where trying to do with that is keep it interesting for people who read the comic books, they wanted to change it a little bit or you would already know everything that happens. Personally i dont care if it follows the comic books because A. I didn't read very many of them, and B. Its not an interesting/important enough story for it to have to follow the original storyline, Just make it not suck. I can't really decide if i like it or not because while it had some really corny over the top parts it also had some really cool parts. My friend was trying to convince me that it was supposed to be corny like that because it was directed by the guy who directed Evil Dead and "thats how he directs" and it was one of the coolest movies ever - I think a beating is in order for him.

Yeah it says Windows Vista Business 32BIT on the CD (Its just a paper CD sleeve with the key sticker on it) its probably the most stripped down version besides home basic if i remember right EDIT: Nevermind, its like Home Premium but without all the stupid windows entertainment apps and more important backup/networking apps that are probably half-assed, i guess its an edition worth owning if you want to run vista, but i really dont.

You can't download any of them i don't know where you saw that. and thats what i said, the videos don't work all the time and are re-uploaded. whatever though, everyone here knows about bitorrent

Here's the good news - Any information they get from you without your written consent isn't admissible in court, so they cant do anything with it, In other words, they aren't even going to bother. The only information they are going to be checking is anything interfering with their anti piracy measures to tell if Vista itself is pirated, and then it will just disable itself, and thats it. They can't even press charges because they have to catch you in the act of downloading. And again, they wont bother because there are probably a ton of false positives. The people they are suing are the people selling burned copies and stuff. ....but still, get rid of Vista, If you have any copies of XP around, install it yourself, the key works 2 or 3 times (cant remember) and if it doesnt you can call MS on the phone for a new one. I recently got a copy of Vista Business (i think) for free, and i havent even bothered opening it
