  1. how do i tell what version of firmware it has? Its nickname is currently PSP229 so is it 2.29? and i think there was a PSP 2.71 update file on there. So am i screwed? I've only "hacked" a PSP 1.5....but that doesnt take much effort
  2. i don't buy 10,000 PS3s equaling 200,000 PCs Im aware alot of people own crappy PCs (actually most people) but thats too big a difference. especially with all the people that have their GPUs AND CPUs overclocked to hell and they use it to test for stability (Im not sure if its folding or that space related one, but it can use your CPU for processing data as well as your GPU), and usually continue running it.
  3. eh oh well, as long as they have good music. I listen to Lords of Acid and they are pretty weird. *hits random* Ramones - Take it as it comes
  4. lol ouch. I'm just not going to say anything. why WWE? haha
  5. I'm pretty much physically unable to just burst into rage and go nuts and act like a dick to these people because I know what dealing with stupid angry customers is like and how much it sucks because of my job. All i want. Is my refund, and then to never have anything to do with them again, thats it, plain and simple. If they are going to make it difficult, then they have alot of bullshit headed towards them as well.
  6. Maybe the FCC will make some sense now? 1st Action they should take, Make all MIMO and any Draft Wireless Technology (Im looking at you Wireless N) illegal, its flocking everything up for everyone else in the general area. That and too something about the RIAA/MPAA - if possible. Oh and Shut Jack Thompson up, I'm sure his voice emits radiation and some kind of signal interference, because my head hurts when he talks.
  7. yeah I did, i even fowarded them to my review of proof i was told they canceled my account. and when i go to deposit 10 dollars into my bank account tomorrow so it won't over withdraw, I'm going to have them set it up to where it blocks payments from them. Then i get to have a fun phone conversation with them about getting a refund (which i was also promised, and emailed a chat log, so i can forward this to anyone they want) because they can't issue refunds over the chat, it has to be over the phone, and conveniently I cant call on weekends only on weekdays. (although to be fair a lot of companies DO operate this way with their phone contact service or whatever its called)
  8. Remember how i canceled my account? Well they didn't actually cancel it, and i just got billed for another month. What bullshit. Supposedly they are working on getting me a refund. Hopefully this doesn't cause this account to overwithdraw (its an account i only use for online stuff, so theres only money in it when i need it) or im going to be flocking pissed off.
  9. its still just a tiny little screen with crap controls. /pass You cannot have handhelds compete with consoles, consoles with PCs, cell phones with consoles, any any combination of those things. They are entirely different markets that have to exists side by side.
  10. hmm i have a couple spare HDDs lying around, but none of them that old or huge. ive actually been looking to buy one just because it would be cool to have around, anyone want to give me one?
  11. This is where the FCC should do their job and say "FLOCK NO!" Its stuff like this they are supposed to protect us from and prevent. That bill that proposes shutting down all SDTV broadcasts and resorting to HDTV only (I mean the one that basically says if you dont own an HDTV you get no TV) Is something they should deal with, it alienates too many people. I agree this has to happen eventually, but you cant just force all these people to have to buy new TVs and stuff.
  12. its really flocking sick when people resort to hurting defenseless animals like this and it pisses me off i hope the flocker dies somehow
  13. good luck man, and hell have fun with it, your fighting for an army/country that isnt flocked up like mine I wish i could go join some foreign army, I really wanted to be in the airforce.
  14. yes, Y-Adaptor! Make sure you buy one that is stereo and not mono though. and remember www.cablesforless.com
  15. for me the whole if it isnt broke dont fix it thing applies. I can live with using 3rd party apps (as they usually work better anyways) on winXP and enjoy the faster performance in some cases for now. I don't really need Vista so why bother? Eventually there will be some service packs and updates and things that hopefully fix all the problems and eventually ill probably get it, but as of right now theres really no rush/need for anyone to have it. and yeah i would run Linux too if it weren't for the games. I don't know my way around Linux nearly as well as i do windows, but when using it, everything is much faster at least. I'm also a power user, and i don't like all the bloat in Vista, I don't even like the bloat in XP, im one of those people that stuck with Windows 2000 Pro for a longass time. Whenever i do an XP installation the first thing i do is start tweaking and stripping things out of it. I like everything tuned to be as minimalistic/efficient/as fast as possible. I hate wizards and popup balloons and flying icons and fancy window effects. Even if it doesnt slow the system down, it slows me down, because i have to wait for some stupid animation to finish before i can do anything. But maybe im just really impatient. Sometimes i feel like i can't use any computer other than my own because i hate waiting for other peoples stupid slow computers. (AKA Public computers/some of my friends, not that many people i know have fast PCs, i think im the only person i know personally who has a Core 2 Duo even besides one of my teachers who has the lowest end one in his tablet PC)
  16. Also something i want to add, according to A4Techs website, there is in fact a "Big Hand Model" and a "Common Hand Model" I have no idea what version i have or how to tell apart from actually measuring it. This is from the website. Product Dimension •Big hand model:4.78"(L)X2.70"(w)x1.55"(H) •Mouse weight:0.27 ib. •Common hand model:4.5"(L)X2.3"(w)X1.6"(H) Mouse weight:0.26 ib. •Package Weight: 0.83 Ib.
  17. saw it last night, it ruled, there was a little too much standing around and bullshitting but that didn't stop it from being the most badass movie ive seen in awhile every frame of that movie could have a "PWNED" quote at the bottom of it
  18. Yeah ive been looking foward to seeing this for a really long time, i really want to see it, i might see it saturday with some friends, and we will probably crack up at THIS IS SPARTAAAAAAAAAAAAA Due to YTMND. Im pretty sure i can still take the movie seriously though.
  19. First off, i want to point something out. This mouse runs from anywhere from 70-90 dollars, earlier on the forums i asked if this site was a scam and whether or not i should risk buying it from them because they where selling it for about 23 bucks (It was about 30 after shipping, standard UPS ground) well I chanced it and bought from them, and it arrived on time well packaged, no BS, Its a good site with some great deals and ill probably buy from them again sometime. I'm not trying to advertise here, just point out that you can get this mouse alot cheaper than normal First i thought i would mention that this is a LASER mouse NOT OPTICAL, This is important to some people, i don't really know why, but there you go. This is the version i bought http://www.axiontech.com/prdt.php?item=77822 It comes in a few other colors too, there is no difference other than the colors, I hope this link works http://www.axiontech.com/search.php?&k...amp;coktype=nor You can check out some pictures there Here is the official product page: http://www.a4tech.us/product2.asp?CID=102&...&MNO=X-750F Anyway, to review this mouse i had my friend bring over his Logitech G5 (The ub3r wired mouse from logitech) and his Razor Copperhead (although i wish he owned a Diamondback because supposedly those are better than the Copperheads) We used some mouse benchmarking software (called MiceJudge) and they all performed around the same, with the X7 coming out slightly on top, more noticeably when i put it at 2500DPI, which isnt suprising because the other ones are only 2000 DPI. But to be honest, when playing games with them, they all pretty much felt the same accuracy wise. 2500DPI was faster, a little bit too fast at times, i would only recommend using this mode in a fast paced fragfest twitch shooter like quake or unreal, and not a game like counter-strike or an RTS. The reason why i didn't bother to get any screencaps is it would be pretty much meaningless after reading this description. A useful feature i like, is all the modes, 600, 800, 1200, 1600, 2000, and 2500 DPI, Theres a button on top that changes the DPI, to some it might be annoying that it only switches up, and not down, but it doesnt really bother me because i usually just find a mode i like and don't change it much. Also, one thing i REALLY liked about this, is according to what DPI mode your in, the scroll wheel lights up a different color. You might thing it would be annoying to have to remember what color is each mode, but A4 tech made a very smart move of putting a sticker on the bottom of the mouse with a little chart on it that tells you. As simple as that is, i think it was a very wise decision of them, It should hold you over until you have it memorized. Another cool thing i like about this mouse is that orange button, Its a triple click button. meaning it clicks the left button 3 times for you in one press. This works very well in CS:S because for some reason its way more accurate than clicking three times, they must have measured and got the timing just right. It works well in other games too, good for when you have to use a pistol or some semi auto gun and you dont feel like clicking a ton. Anything to aide in my lazyness=good There are 2 programmable buttons on this mouse, which is less than the others, But i found myself wondering what to set the second button too, the first one is reload, the second one....action key? My keyboard is mapped out to where i don't really need it. in NFS Carbon i set one to NOS and one to that weird drift mode which works well, There a couple things you can do with it in Battlefield 2. but i dunno, unless your playing a game where you really need to access all those buttons that quickly, i think 2 is really enough. So i dont take any points off here. The buttons are VERY reactive, you don't have to press very hard at all to get them to click, This took some getting used to as i was using some Targus mouse before that was a piece of crap (in the mouse benchmarking software it was blown away so badly it was pathetic, you really DO notice a HUGE difference playing with one of these gaming mice, they ARE worth the investment if you ask me) and on my older mouse you had to press way harder, so i kept accidentally clicking. It has a nice little rubber grip on the side - but not if your left handed Im not left handed so i cant really test if this is a good mouse for lefties, but it seems to fit my hand okay. Theres an option in the software to flip the buttons and everything. The software is easy to use, pretty straightforward, you assign the buttons, You can set Vertical and Horizontal DPIs to be different, use the X7-Jump feature (which i think is aimed at replacing your keyboard with a mouse- everything besides actual typing anyway, i don't really know, to be honest i didnt try it out very much, i dont really like those weird mouse apps that are always bundled in too much) As for comfort, its very comfortable, fits my hand perfectly, it doesnt have a huge bulge on the back so my hand touches the mousepad a little, but i have huge ass hands, For this mouse to fit my hand as well as it does is pretty amazing as i rarely find any mouse comfortable, my friend with normal hands also said he liked it too haha, so its not oversized or anything. I only have two complaints, First off, I had to buy the chrome version, i dont know why, but i did, and it DOES get fingerprint-ey. But i guess thats my fault for insisting on chrome for some reason. Second, is the cord, Its an okay length, not too long or too short, but its a little cheap feeling, ive never worn out a mouse cord in my life though nor have i ever heard of it happening with normal use so im not really worried about it. Overall i give this mouse a 9.5/10, simply because i know some people are going to be worried about that cord, and you lefties get no cool little grip thing. It performs excellently, has all the features i could want, and blows the other ones away in terms of value thanks to AxionTech.
  20. a friend of mine who's a big ICO fan told me that, I'll ask him where he found that out (which will probably be like saturday when i see him at work if i remember)
  21. hopefully bethesda (they are making it right?) allows it to run on an engine that requires more sane system requirements. if not, Xbox 360 version
  22. they are only on issue 25? I know next to nothing about comic books but i thought they where farther along than that. (The only comic books i really read every once in awhile is Batman and the Punisher)
  23. Anyone know if this game is DX10? Or if it will at least have a DX9 mode? Im pretty sure its gonna be DX9 since its coming out for 360 but im just making sure.
