i bought an X1950 PRO 512MB which i think is down to like 180 dollars now if not cheaper, its a decent card, i can run everything i throw at it at 1280X1024 maxed out with 16XAA and 8XAF or the other way around or something, jeez im tired. (i could probably go higher but i dont really feel the need to) the 9800 series cards really amaze me though, i remember PC Gamer crapping their pants all over the place about it, and its amazing that you can still even today get away with using one and have a great gaming experience.

i have this game, it is really good, i think its definitley worth the 20 dollar price tag it has now. (gasp i payed for a game haha) I haven't beaten it yet as ive just been playing it in parts, ill sit down beat a couple bosses and then stop playing for awhile. So maybe its because i havent beaten it yet but the storyline is cool, but in no way deep or anything. I agree that the controls are a little awkward but you can get used to them. It reminds me of all those platformers on the PSX (the controls). The game is more complicated than it looks though, Did you know eating lizards with white tails increases your health? Shooting yellow fruits out of trees to eat increases your grip? (or maybe its the other way around) and on top of the temple, if your health bar eventually gets too big (It never stops letting you level up) there are things to eat to make your health bar smaller? I pretty much play it for the wow this is a cool experience factor, the bosses are fun, i like having to figure out how to beat each one, its like each boss is kind of a puzzle. SPOILER: -------------------------------------- This game is the prequel to ICO - you are the villian from ICO and the girl is the princess or whatever, If you watch your main character closely as you get farther in the game he becomes more sinister looking. I've never even touched ICO so thats the best explanation i can really give on this part. So i guess the storyline is one of those deceptively simple things. /end spoiler

well its pretty stupid that these are the things the government is worried about passing laws for when there are much more serious problems safety and protection and everything is by far more important than greedy businessmen. There are people that fight it, alot of them, problem is they do it in the wrong way (like by just doing it anyway) or they fight it by moving to another country, neither of those really solves anything here.

all those features are basically set up for people who dont know how to use a computer. Fancy visuals/half-assed apps/wizards and crap flying around your screen to guide you through everything. Anyone who has a decent amount of knowledge about computers can do all those things in XP/Linux/even Mac This is the same exact thing that happened when XP came out and everyone said it was too bloated and set up to be too user friendly wasting resources and being annoying and everything so everyone wanted to stick with 2000. Vista is going to be a waste of time right now, its new, and performs like crap, but with age/development/updates it will become the standard eventually. Its a fact that Vista runs slower than XP. But vista may either catch up or outperform xp eventually. other random info to add to my rant: I think its bullshit that we have to wait for patches and stuff, if i buy something i want it to work decently/better/etc when i buy it, instantly, but maybe im just impatient.

everything i can get my hands on for PC to test out my new GFX card Im downloading Scarface right now so ill be playing that, i heard its not that bad, but not that great either. its friggen awesome though, with AA and AF i can actually name the PC parts in the computers in Office on CS:S (but maybe that just makes me a nerd )

yeah i dont remember one either, i figured it was new. BTW if you go the firefox route. You can get a portable apps version of firefox and run it from a USB drive, and install it onto that. Then you dont have to install anything

what are you guys talking about? Those are the same crappy games found in every crappy arcade. Its like theres some kind of established standard to have at least those games, i see them in every arcade i walk into. (there are some good ones in there but for the most part...) maybe im just used to the kickass arcade i used to live by though, man i miss that place, i pretty much grew up in there

and your positive you cant find it anywhere else? Your probably screwed and need the toolbar. Google megaupload 3rd party download app or something and see if someone made a little exe you can run or something.

i would just avoid using the site, any site that requires you to install bullshit onto your computer like that is probably a bad idea.

you could be WAY worse off though. At least you dont have some garbage 2.2GHz Celeron 256MB RAM with integrated video system i see for sale everywhere. There IS a site like that, run by microsoft, but im not sure where it is anymore. Try googling it. Games nowadays rely on the video card alot more than they used to, try and see what you have and post it. Your PC isnt that bad for Emulation purposes though.

this is true, lately ive been on this "weird games" kick where ive been playing stuff like Shadow if the colossus and loco roco. those and rhythm games (although i haven't played DDR in years because my stupid pad doesn't work right anymore)

yeah i was kinda surprised to find out hes still making movies, i knew he did stuff for TV every once in awhile though (did a PS2 commercial actually, and some random cigarette ads and stuff)

yeah his movies are all weird but good (although he had nothing to do with begotten) i own all his movies and most of his shorts Don't forget to get Blue Velvet and Rabbits (First is a movie, second is a short/series of shorts) Rabbits is really weird. oh yeah and Mulholland Dr. is a fairly new one thats supposed to be really good (i have it but havent watched it yet)
