yeah, after you solder alot it just becomes easy. I remember when i was a n00b i found it much harder to unsolder than to solder, so find some old circuit board and try unsoldering things and i guess resoldering them back on.

soldering isnt that hard it just requires patience, dont rush it. Also if there is no + or - whatever metal prong is longer will be the +.

ooh i like, what kind of car is that? and CarPCs are actually pretty easy to build if you wanted to do that. Its a good idea for storing all your MP3s and then you dont have to worry about all this ipod nonsense.

well i will buy some games, its just that id like to save money by downloading some that arent really worth the price or just so i wont have to spend as much money. plus sometimes games look really cool but end up sucking so if i bought one and it sucked i would be pissed.

are you doing this on a PS2? Because my PS2 is the same way, It refuses to read anything but original PSX and PS2 CD games. Its like it knows. It just makes clanking noises and wont read any original audio cds, burned audio cds, burned games, swap magic cd disc, anything, its really stupid.

Yeah i mean im not saying make it look like crap but you would think a game like this would be more optimized for performance than looks (if you havent played the game basically you need it to run at at least 60FPS or you will die, lots of stuff moving around real fast)

you should be fine, even if you play crazy bass all the time i doubt its going to be enough to cause any damage. Those speakers HAVE to be shielded too (Logitech would be retarded to not shield them, and Logitech makes good stuff so it is) Just play something with alot of bass loudly (download NCH Tone Generator and play some low sine waves) and feel the side of your computer and see if its really vibrating that much. Keep in mind that its going to take alot to really do anything.

Whats pathetic is how XP runs every benchmark faster. True, processors will get faster, But its like Lets wait for tomorrows processors for todays performance. You can run things faster in XP, and since theres less bloatware youll always run things faster in XP, unless they do some crazy huge overhaul. UT2k4 is a really interesting one, since that game relies way more on your CPU than your GPU. You can really see the wasted processor usage in that one.
