Whenever i get one of those things where its like 50 RAR files in parts, I always have problems extracting them now. I always get some random file is currupt, and i have to redownload like 10 files of the thing before i get it right >_< Does anyone know why its doing this? My main HDD IS failing though, if not dead already (im using it now temporarily after a huge system crash untill my new one comes in the mail) Is it doing this because when i download torrents and stuff it caches things to the main C drive before putting it on the other HDDs? HDD1:20GB POS failing thing HDD2:40GB POS HDD3:40GB POS even if i have something on HDD2 and i extract it to HDD3 i get the same thing (yeah i know it should be numbered 0-2...wahh) i cant wait till my SATA drive comes and i can throw out all 3 (i might sell the 40GB though, they are still good...i think) Does it have anything to do with this IDE Drive strength thing in my BIOS? My options are Lowest, Low, Normal, and High, before it was on Normal, now its on Low (I did a BIOS Upgrade and everything reset) but it does the same thing. Should i try setting it to Lowest? or even Highest? stupid IDE....

You can buy it at www.thinkgeek.com Its basically a remote that can control any app you throw at it, and its completley programmable, and its awesome. It works perfectly...i dont really know how to review a remote, i mean its a remote, it controls stuff. Its probably one of the coolest things ive ever bought for my computer though. PS. It can control your mouse....freakin sweet (Not Wii Style but good enough)

yeah, i mean i personally dont have a problem with people who smoke bud and stuff, but when people start doing heroin and coke and meth and stuff thats when it becomes a problem i think. But there are people who automatically assume people who do that are bad people, which isnt really fair. Because 99% of them wouldnt have a problem with it either if they lived in a country where it was legal and common.

Yeah well that HDD i suspected was failing just went kaput. I had to restart the computer and i kept getting all these errors about currupted files and now its running checkdisk and restoring like a million things. Its probably just going to currupt itself again Thank god i have everything backed up on other hard drives. but anyway i need a new HDD now. the mobo im using right now is more of a temporary solution, so it only supports SATA150. So if its a SATA300 it needs to be able to run in SATA150 mode. just do what i did, go into a store that sells used games, find a copy of HL, Blue-Shift, CS, any of those random games, and write the code down, go home, make a steam account, and free games! yay! if your too lazy to go to the store sometimes people forget to blur out the CD key when they take pics for ebay but seriously you can just get a copy for like 2 dollars now, and it comes with all the HL1 based games no matter which one you get (except for that one in the new DVD-type box is only the games it says it has which i dont remember right now)

would speedfan be sufficient? i know it has SMART features but i havent really used them besides hitting go and saying hmm that cool and closing it and they are internal i think only 1 of the 3 is actually failing. But im not sure. Either way im getting a new SATA HDD soon, but i shouldnt bother keeping these drives if they are failing.

I suspect one or more of my HDDs is failing, is CHKDISK a good enough tool to see if im right?

i actually recently got some nag champa at hot topic, 100 sticks for liek 2 or 3 bucks, which isnt the best deal but its not bad, and im not so sure its the real deal incense but it will do for now i guess. they do have some pretty good incense at spencers gifts though, its a little overpriced however the only problem is id like to be able to buy either a massive variety pack or just a like a huge wholesale box of it, i burn alot of incense

well my friend bought one of those cards recently so im positive it has no inputs, but in your case its probably integrated and thats why you have them. Its a custom HP mobo thing.

i have some nag champa right now its good stuff, i didnt think of looking on amazon ill try that. i would try the bootleg cd thing but i dont know what Cincinnati's equivalent to Chinatown NYC is supposed to be (cincy is lame....there is none) so i dont know where to look.

oh yeah i forgot about that, hes right, like everything on the screen will be delayed from the controller. Making everything pretty hard to play. If you want to use your PC monitor i would suggest finding a VGA Cable/VGA Converter box. Its worth the investment to get a VGA Box that accepts any input instead of just for one console because then you can use any system/DVD player/whatever you want on it. and theres gonna be a delay on any input, even if it was a really high end card because there is a buffer to avoid dropping frames when capturing video. I wonder if there is a way to disable that.

does anyone know any good sites where i can buy like alot of incense for pretty cheap? Im looking for mainly stick incense and ill probably pick up some smudge incense as well. If they sell Super Hit incense too that would be cool, ive only had it once and i remember it was really good.

ooh ive seen these PCs. Question for you- What kind of HDDs go in that HDD bay? Ive never seen anything in one. Just a regular drive or do you need some weird enclosure? You should be able to do what you wanted to do then, What you need is some software to display whats going through the input. Although i have no idea what software to use. You could get some video capturing software that has a live preview type function and run that. what kind of software did HP give you for it? try any of that?

if you want to keep them in DivX format, and the console isnt modded/you dont have swap discs, ive heard that Action Replay MAX works really well (you can buy it in stores)

yeah, i remember when my friend got the GeForce 6800 when it first came out and we thought it was the most amazing thing ever, that quickly turned to crap. Ill wait on any DX10 stuff

no you can do it through the video card, but im 99% sure those arent input ports, but output ports, in case you wanted to use a TV as a monitor

what the hell? So put the firmware file in the folder, run dumper, then run the downdate thing?
