If you update your ndstool, then renaming will be enough to make it work. ndstool has created.nds files with a built in loader since mid June.

Yes, I created DSLinux. Yes, it would be nice to have wifi support in DSLinux. I don't know how to write a wifi driver, so you may have to wait a long time while I work it out.

DSLinux has multitasking.

sgstair is not creating a wifi driver for dslinux. He is going to provide information that will help in the creation of a driver. It may be easier to port ssh directly than to create a driver.
