the rom sf2m1 doesn't show up on the list of roms. is there a reason why this sf2 hack isn't supported? and what are the sf2bonus roms i see in my .141 rom collection?

i think some are in the xtra's genesis torrent somewhere's on the the interweb... i could be wrong though.

ok... your intention is to have a home console only based emu, ie fbc. and a arcade only based emu, fbl. is it possible for fbl not to see the roms intended for fbc and vise versa? i guess the dat file can be updated for filtering (deleting) out the two different per emu too.

are the rom sets (neogeo & cp changer) the same for fbc & fbl? my concern is having to many of the same roms. hard drive space is limited.

my only concern is that i like the favorites list. it's easy for me to find the games i play with my son too. maybe an extra option on the main menu for "Perfect Collection" list

In theory, FBL could emulate other consoles. In fact FBANext already has a SNES driver in the sourcecode; I did try implementing it into a build of FBL just to see if it would work and all I got was a black screen when launching games. But I don't have the facilities to run FBANext so for all I know it may not work there either. nes6502's port of Final Burn is interesting because it uses an entirely different core for the games it supports, allowing them to run much faster at the expense of accuracy. This is still the best emulator to use for Sega X and Y board games like Power Drift and Rail Chase. a mame emu with fbl gui... oh wait, you said it could emulate other consoles... oops. anyways... would another romset for these roms need to be made or could we use exisiting sets. i have the xtra's set. i think that the rom set for fba had the zip files renamed similar to mame. for example: "sonic the hedgehog 2.zip" is used in neogenesis and i think fba/mame had "sonic2.zip" if we could use existing sets it would help in the "hard-drive space" area.

Very do-able. Though I think an On/Off option would be better than a filter. Filters are more about what you do want to see than what you don't if you follow my meaning. i gotta 4yr old so... if your able to turn those ones off that would be swell.

R-Type Leo is also in the driver but this isn't included in this build as it crashes during loading at the moment. When reporting these issues it would save me time if you could mention whether they existed in previous builds or if they were working prior to 1.4/1.5. In 1.5 I haven't made any changes to the cheat routines, the Neogeo code, or the save state code. In addition, it turns out that one of the newly added CPS1 clones (area88r) has incorrect rom size information. I'm in the middle of a big CPS1 update to bring things in line with MAME so I'll get that finished as soon as I can and release a small update that corrects this. EDIT: Turns out that Neogeo save states were disabled by nes6502 in the original FBL as they were buggy and caused problems. sorry, this was the first time playing these on v1.5 Oops... I didn't update to 1.5 romset. Just did and did a scan of the roms. Cheats are working. Sorry.

any chance of a filter that will hide the adult themed games? maybe the mahjoung ones too?

Don't forget the fast boot time, I can be playing a game in 30 seconds from startup. i got a chipped xbox with a 80gig hdd for $10

how crazy is it that the xbox can emulate cps3... i mean sheesh. i would never had expected that and it does a fine job doing too. and what about daphne? thats just "wicked awesome" as they say back home. with final burn legends being updated right now i think the sky is the limit. sega saturn emulator... it's out there. it's just waiting. oh how we need a new mame emu... just not one with all the bs (pun?)

weird... the following games cheats aren't working: gp rider (sega motocycle game) infinite time cheat & hyper pacman (invincble cheat) i turn these on for my 4yr old to play. these are the only games i've checked today.

sheesh... it's the gameplay. blaster master on nes is still an awesome game. if i had time i'd attempt to finally finish it.

will the next fbl be just patch xbe or complete install?

Aha! I wondered how long it would take before somebody spotted this. Support for Genesis games has been removed, FBL is now arcade games only. If you want to play arcade and console games under the same UI then you know where to go. can you add mame then? (jk) something happened when i used the filter selection. i was looking for a neogeo (only) game then went down the list. the marquee's where not showing and the video's were not playing either(these work in favs & game select fine). it did show my title screenshots. then as i was going back to the main screen my xbox reset. weird...

normally if you check the video options you can rotate the screen, ie 90', 180' and so on. you may have to leave the rom then reload from the game list only if the boston red sox are playing then there is interest... i've noticed that many of my neogeo sets (i have the cbagy 1.4 set[mucho gracias cbagy ]) have been set to the mvs bios. answers that question. i get the green screen... of course manually changing them to the uni bios is easy, just tedious. i really like the update. +T+, kenshiro, and iq_132. yoos ar reelly is guud.
