I don't think I've even played Doom 2 yet, much less Doom 3. But Doom 1 was great iirc. I intend to play them all eventually, in a gore-fest of undetermined time.

I prefer 2d, I don't see why everyone hates it. It's not hard to move at all. Using 3d controls is obviously easier, because you can turn around and run like a pansy quicker. But it's not in any way hard to use, I got it within a minute, and haven't had problems with it, or complained, since.

Those graphics are awesome! I think real 3d ruined the market. It opened it up for lameass games that all the "normal" people buy, disbalancing the charts of sales and such. Of course Disgaea's sales were "bad"! It's not a sport/military/popular RPG title!

3D fighters, as a rule, suck ass. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, but 2D is still better.
