well for ut2004..if you play onslaught you need strategy?? teamwork?/.. but i agree to what kdash said about deus ex. it is sorta like two genres mix together..

i dont get whats so great about ss.. geez..i think lastblade was lot better.. only if they had continued on the series...

hey now. ut2004 takes strategy and tactics..i think you'll get flamed by all those who play ut2004 in here..and halo takes strategy and tactics too..

yea probably 200mhz or somewhere around 150-200...it was f#($*# slow! argh.. took at least 5-7 minutes loading up star:bw.. and out of the 5gb.. 3-4 was gone in 1-2 days.. "shudder" hate to think of those years with that computer Hey man, quit bitching. I still have the same type of computer, except with a 8 GiB HDD. And it's my primary one. aww that sucks! get a new computer.. you need to follow up with new technologies..

you guys ever play deus ex?.. i played for couple of hours and i starated to get sick..i dont know why but when i played duke nukem 3d i was fine.. than also while i was playing star wars jedi outcast.i got sick again.. and so i stopped playing fps for awhile until halo and ut2004.. while playing ut2004 im fine.no sickness w.e but when playing halo single mode..i get sick..argh..wtf @#(@$)( is wrong with em??!?! do any of you guys get sick (headache, puking) when playing fps??

i first got my computer when i was in 6th grade??.. bought an awesome Compaq Presario.. pentium 1, 5gb, i dont know how many ghz.. and the cdrom and floppy drive.. a son of my moms friend brought over some dos games.. like some jungle side scroller, duke nukem, commander keen, than got into duke nukem 3d and the c&c series.. i had that computer till like 10th grade.. and than finally bought an ok computer than iam using right now..

sorry for bringing up an old thread but ive been debating on which card to get.. the x800xt or the latest nvidia card.. i think in one of the recent threads, it showed that nvidia was lot better than x800xt.. so if you guys have used the two cards before.. coudl you give me some information on how the card is?.. thanks

All you played was Onslaught? Hmm. Well a supernode is something you have to capture to connect the dots all the way to the enemy's power generator. While you do that you have to make sure your enemy doesn't do the same to you so you have to destroy the powernodes that they build. UT2K4 comes with many other different gamemodes. There's Deathmatch (where people run around and kill), Team Deathmatch (where teams of people run around and kill), Capture the Flag (where teams capture each others flag and kill), Assault (where people must do certain objectives to win the map and kill people), Double Domination (where teams must capture and hold 2 points and score a certain amount to win and kill people), Bombing Run (kind of like Rugby with guns), Last Man Standing (like Deathmatch but you start out with a certain number of lives and last man standing wins), Mutant (dumb mode, I won't even explain it), and Invasion (where you and bunch of people fight of an invasion of bots.) And then there is Onslaught which you played which is about controlling nodes to connect the dots between your base and the enemy's and then destroying their power generator. hehe thanks for the info gryph. yea i had no idea what i was doing while playing ut2004.. after i get ut2004..someone play with me? yea?

i played couple of games online with the ut2004 demo.but after playing its not that great. i dont know how much difference there is between the fullver and the demo but from playing the demo, i prefer halo.. few questions,... what is supernode/node?.. why do i need to destroy that??.. is there any type of game in ut2004 where ppl just run around and kill?.. also for the vehicles.. how do i mount onto the guns??.. some vehicles let me shoot but other vehicles wouldn't let me..

hey just found an article on cnn considering the price drops of ps2, xbox and gc.. from what i read, sony sold over 71.3 million ps2 while xbox was 13.7 million..this probably start a flame war but imo i dont think microsoft has what it takes to compete with sony..
