The legal fine print sets the federal drinking age at 21, but locals can sometimes be lenient. Gryph, being down in the Old South, probably has a tougher time getting his hands on alcohol. I tell you though, there are plenty of ways to go around this. You can buy alcohol at filling stations here in the U.S., and the best kind is one near your university staffed by a fellow student not only will they not check your ID, but they may even give you a discount. Either that or go to England, i love it over there and people are so much more laid back. Friendly, too. Wow, this thread has gone way off topic....
