The Nintendo DS doesn't reach store shelves for another two weeks, but we managed to get a couple retail Nintendo DS units for some hands-on testing. The retail package includes the Nintendo DS unit, a rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack, an AC adapter, a wrist strap, an extra stylus, and a Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt demo cartridge. The Nintendo DS unit weighs just over half a pound and is roughly twice the size of the Game Boy Advance SP. Maybe after the price drops (big exception: if an F-Zero title is released and it looks to be very good. Then I'll buy it as soon as I can raise the free cash.)
