shin_nihon_kikaku
Is there any way to disable a particular key on a generic keyboard? The key that is aggravating me is the caps lock key. Does anyone else find ThEY END UP typing WHOLE sentenCES in Caps by MISTAKe and THEN LOOk up at the screen to find they have to do it all again in lower case....?(by the way, even though I type fast it's a problem because I can't touch-type too well) (I only touch type certain keys such as shift (or caps lock by mistake). Just wondering if there's any way to do this, thanks.
ken_cinder
Step 1: Get a large knifeStep 2: Pry the offending key from it's socket, being sure to use enough force to rip out the plastic socket as well.Step 3: Grab a beer and celebrate the death of the offending key

ugenn
If you know how to hack your kbd driver, reprogram it to ignore the scan code for the cap key.

Gryph
You could install a little shocker on the Caps lock key so everytime you press it you'll be punished. You'll learn to avoid it pretty quickly then. Edited November 12, 2004 by GryphonKlaw
