Normal CPU Tempature

i wonder if my friend has fixed his cooling by now... He has this probelm that when he runs games and other heavy-duty programs, the CPU temps hit 80 + C and reboots. Mine is usually 40-54C

i have a Athlon Xp 2800+ and my cpu tem is usually 46-53 and i'm not sure if the fan is put in my case is blowing the right way cuz i don't feel any hot air coming out out the back but i do feel hot air from the power supply

Just keep and eye on the temps and tell us if it suddenly jumps 10 C again.

btw I have a AMD 64 3200+ and 5 fans on mah thermaltake V7000D...how many fans or what kind of cooling systems do you guys have?

I have an Athlon XP 3200+ with a Thermaltake Silent Boost. I have 4 fans in my case (2 in front, 2 in back) and my temps never go over 50. My CPU is also always at 100% load.
