Corn99 Posted November 14, 2004 Share Posted November 14, 2004 (edited) i modeled in softimage xsi now i got softimage 3d,in xsi it took more that 17 hours to run out of memory,now that i use 3d it runs out of memory(reserved for grphics i guess 32 mb) like 20 minutes after i start not giving me enough time to do crap. Gryph Posted November 14, 2004 Share Posted November 14, 2004 512 isn't really enough for rigorous 3D work as Agozer said. You should invest in some more RAM whenever you get a chance. Close any unnecessary programs you have running the background when you are doing stuff like this. One thing you could do is increase your System Page File. Corn99 Posted November 14, 2004 Author Share Posted November 14, 2004 thanks ill try to stop the mulitple windows open while modeling and i got xsi advance cause softimage 3d is really unstable bit now i lose the ability export to ps1,n64,dreamcast/ oh well i dont really need it at least with advance i got more features than xsi foundation.
