Shibathedog Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 i hope its alot of fun, i like super unrealisitic racers/rally racers like RalliSportChallenge 2 and Need For Speed Underground and stuff. I absolutly hate games like Project Gotham 2 and stuff its just horrible. I like alot of those futuristic racers too but the only example i can think of at the moment is Extreme G which isnt realy a very good one.
Inky Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 meh, I'll take a million dollar crash in burnout any day over tweaking cambers on a celica.
Alpha Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 I never saw what was so great with the Gran Turismo series. I think the San Francisco Rush series was 10x better. Partially probabaly since I have an Nintendo 64 and had a PSX till later. However, I still played Gran Turismo II and was just bored to death by playing it. I'm not sure exactly what my definition of a racing game is, but it's expectations are a lot more than Gran Turismo.
Jjangthekid Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 Gran Turismo is just more realistic I think. Gran Turismo is good at times when you just want to let out some stress bc of some stupid driver that took a 1hour mile turn and bc they went 10 miiile under the speed limit..
Daeval Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 meh, I'll take a million dollar crash in burnout any day over tweaking cambers on a celica.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> LOL I hold Burnout with as much esteem as the GT series. The racing there is fun, but there's nothing quite like crash mode.
