ken_cinder Posted November 19, 2004 Share Posted November 19, 2004 Well it is entirely possible to leave your XP installation just the way it is. It's just that the NT Loader gets replaced with one from the Win2K install, and it's not compatible with XP (The XP one is backwards compatible however)Simply installing on another disk doesn't allieviate the problem, you still need the bootloader on your root drive (C:), so no matter where you put the install it will be affected. I'll attach the needed fix here, and you can take it from there.
