help with unziping files

i have download some files wich they are copressed files but to use them i have to use a bat file to unzip them and that bat file is not working so is there any way to unzip them without using the bat file

Off the top of my head, no. Use...winzip, or something. What's a bat file. Battery file? Maybe the old one died, dl a new one.

.bat files are MS-DOS batch files (unless youre being sarcastic or something ). whats the file extension of the compressed files btw (.rar,.zip,.ace,.7z, etc)?

its just end with.1.2 and the final file end with.3 i try to open the first file with winrar and it works but its say this file is a part of other file and i try to make him oen the other two file but no hope

rename them to.rar? or try dragging one of the files out onto your desktop or a folder, some times in big files, rar/zip files are split into parts.. usually by doing that it auto-merges the files..
