Adel151 Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 i got winamp 2.95 sometimes i use it for its cd support.i downloaded some plug-ins that make the mp3s sound cool. is there a way for the plug-ins to support the cd so they will sound cool to. hope i explained it right
ken_cinder Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 Post processing plugins can't and won't affect the playback of CDDA audio, it's already "CD Quality" anyway. I do understand what you're after though, some of the plugins do some neat stuff, and it would be nice......but it's just not possible with DSP plugins that do post-proceessing on the audio. MP3's are decoded and processed, CDDA is pure and is not.
Adel151 Posted November 24, 2004 Author Posted November 24, 2004 i understand ok how about the wma music format my plug-ins dont work for them either is there a way?
ken_cinder Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 i understand ok how about the wma music format my plug-ins dont work for them either is there a way? Now that I'm entirely unsure about. I stay away from Microsoft's proprietary formats, money hungry bastards they are.
Weirdy Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 i understand ok how about the wma music format my plug-ins dont work for them either is there a way?<{POST_SNAPBACK}>go here and get the musik converter, install it, then visit codec central and download and install codecs you'll want and need. There's one that encodes/decodes wma format, so....yeah, just convert it to a different format. My favorite is ogg 256kbps VBR at 44khz frequency
Adel151 Posted November 25, 2004 Author Posted November 25, 2004 this is a good little conversion tool thanx Weirdanzeige
