Can you navigate the Test Menu or does it only give you the Dot Cross Hatch?

There are several options, but the usual test menu-thingies.

Dot cross Hatch -> Colortest -> I/O-Check -> Sound Test -> Memory Card Test -> Backup Clear -> Calendar/Clock

Try deleting the EEP ROM file (game_name.srm in the eeprom folder) and reloading the game. That usually works.

Yes, this might actually work in some cases, since Static RAM sometimes behaves incorrectly when the emulator writes it.

Won't work. Just deleted the file and tried it again, no changes.

Yeah, correct the DAT to match your CRCs.

Well, he appears to be running Windows in German, and he's from Hannover. My guess, he's Polynisian.

 

Don't worry about the dat thing, Kyo. It's happened to *all* of us, I just assumed that if that was the problem you'd be getting an error message to let you know... odd that you didn't.
