Inky Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 so I wanna set up all my programs and stuff on a different passworded login. I got my new profile set up but alot of programs don't seem to be available there. is there anyway to add them to my login? and also move some folders over to my new profiles desktop? any help would be cool thanx.
Gryph Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 Go to C:\ and you should see the folder Documents and Settings. There you'll find all the stuff that goes with each profile in separate directories.
ken_cinder Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 Also keep in mind anything in the x:\Documents And Settings\All Users folder(s) will be available to EVERY user. If you want something to appear in the Start Menu for everyone, for instance, you would put the link in x:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu
