quickest way to spit a large file

Basically i have a movie i want to spilt, what is the quickest way?

 

Anything besides making into a rar, and splitting it......

Use this program. I had to RAR it since I can't attach EXEs.

 

It splits the file into these weird parts but you can still open them in video players.

Virtualdub......mark out the first half of the movie and delete the last half (Not physically, just virtually...don't worry about losing anything) and do "Direct Stream Copy" for both audio and video, saving the first half to a new file.

Do the same for the second half.

 

Voila!
