Like all systems, it takes time before a system gets a game that everyone likes and people start to play tongue.gif

For psx it was ff7

for snes it was chrono trigger

and on and on

Eh???? Chrono trigger came out close to the end of the SNES life cycle (1995) The must-plays included Super Castlevania IV (1991) R-Type III (1993) and final fantasy VI(1994) not to mention the launch titles like f-zero.

But i see that you are an RPG man.

And at 666ghost: You may have all of the crap, but it's all about how it's utiliized. If these developers exploit the touchscreens etc. in new ways then it will be worth buying.

Wouldn't you like an interactive porn game with the touch screen? I think that'd be right up your alley. Midget porn perhaps.

Now That Gryph's Mentioned It,... The DS sounds Pretty Good, When The Price Goes Down.

The PSP is sure to fail if the battery life is short. At least it should be easier to emulate than the DS, since it has no touchscreen, voice recognition. It will just need a lot of CPU resources.

I'd say the short battery life is a major stumbling block for potential buyers. a major mistake on sony's part

Batteries last like 3 hours or so right?

Im pretty sure they' prolly make an addon that u can charge or something in the car or at home to make life easier

prolly a power pack :(

i have a ds... its pretty good I love the touch screen stuff. Like mini games and crap are way addicting now for some reason. Other then that it looks like a portable n64. Which in some cases is a good and bad thing i guess. I like it and hope they release some good titles like a fzero game and such... but ill also probably be picking up the psp just not at launch. See how the battery life and everything goes then ill probably buy it. The graphics compared are crazy.. i mean look at the nds version of Ridge racer and then look at the psp version... its humilating. now if the psp had a touch screen and so on then it would have nothing to contend with. Atleast nintendo tryed something new and cool. I think its something that could catch on.
