Agozer Posted December 11, 2004 Share Posted December 11, 2004 (edited) I find it quite sad and ironic that Daikatana was first made using the Quake engine. Then along came Quake 2, and they realized that no way they could use the Q1 engine... To top it all, they had to rewrite the whole code. because the original codebase didn't fit into the Q2 framework.
