first person shooters do not turn me on, they should make more 3rd person games....the only first person shooter i ever enjoyed was a game called shadow warrior from the makers of Duke Nukem, its a shame they didnt make any more of those games

I really like Painkiller not because it's story is basically weak and the cutscenes are a bit stiff, but for the fact that it doesn't try to do any fancy stuff and only concentrates to give the player that old-school "Kill everything that moves" kind of an experience.

Painkiller is awesome, the only thing I hate about it is it's god damn engine and netcode. It absoluly blows.

I really like it's engine graphics-wise, but it is buggy. Latest updates have fixed some of the nastier issues though.

 

I don't even use Multiplayer, so I could care less about the netcode. Isn't that via GameSpy or something?

I got the latest demo for Painkiller with the latest graphical updates and it looks pretty damn good.
