Lucandrake Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 Mcfee Firewalls are ok, better then Norton, I think Norton has a virus in it because norton usually slows down my computer to the point were getting online takes a lifetime, o well, its my opiniun, do you care? Obvisly now.
Agozer Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 BitDefender is also very goo (shameles plug) and I think there's a free version of it.
Alpha Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 Sygate is very good as well.. it's really based on user preference.

esoteric Posted December 28, 2004 Posted December 28, 2004 windows firewall is a virus lol a good router beats the sh!7 out of a firewall
Robert Posted December 28, 2004 Posted December 28, 2004 Problem with XP SP2 firewall is that if you do happento get a trojan, the firewall will allow any and all outwardtraffic. It only prevents inward traffic. Zone-alarm protects both ways.
