Final Fantasy GFX geforce patch

i started playing final fantasy 8 for PC, everything was fine exepct the 2d backgrounds that looked with some glitches, if this is your case, you can download the patch for it from here

there is also a patch for noon nvidia gfx cards, that will bring the game to ver 1.2

It's funny how the ports of FF have been less than stellar. The character models are more detailed, and the resolution is upped by a notch but that's pretty much it.

yeah well even if the resolution went high the game still looks crapier when it comes to 2d, 3d models are nice, except women legs which are way to thin and the control , well it is pretty confusing playing with my gamepad andchanging the buttons setup

I don't think square care too much for the pc market. Anyways, by the time the pc ports come out, everybody have palyed the game on their psx.

Well, I played the PC version of FFVII long before I got a PSX (I got it the same day FFVIII came out in Europe), but I never finished the first disc on te PC.
