Need help determining !

Well I'm selling my ps2, since I needed the money for the computer parts I'm spending on, so help me determine the everything I'm selling, and help sums up the total. I just like a decent selling price, that I ain't ripping people off as well as gain less.

 

Here's the list:

 

-Sony Playstation 2 console w/black controller (original)

-Sony PS2 online adapter

-Sony Official 8MB memory card

-Performance Dual Impact 2 (3rd party controller)

-Tony Hawk UnderGround 2

Well...after some arbitrary calculations, I came to the figure of $293. You can maybe add or subtract $20 from that number. A decent price nonetheless.

How are you going to sell it? eBay would pretty much gaurauntee a fair price if that's an option, and you'd probably get more selling things individually there. If not, you could do a few searches on completed items to come up with a fair price for your stuff.

Whatever you do, don't sell it to EBgames or Gamestop because they will give you like $5 for all that neat stuff. I like them and all but they gotta pay more for your goods.

$300 sounds like a suitable price. Jump to $350 if you want to gouge somebody, or $250 if you want to dump and run.

I say $250, it depends on like where you sell it. Ebay you would get the most out of it, but if you want the money as soon as possible and not like waiting until somebody might buyt it go with $250.

Agreed! Selling to a store is a nice way to get rid of something quickly, but a crappy way to get what it's worth. When you do this, you usually end up getting about half, or a little less than half, of the average re-sale value of your stuff.

I'd go with $290. It just seems logical for the stuff your giving away.

No not ebay, I do sales in my city ads, and it works out fast and easy. Right now I'm doing $350, til someone try to negotiate with me
