cant seem to get the in game sounds to work

 

i have a nvidia geforce4 mx graphics card

 

any one know a solution?

Have you installed the latest Nforce drivers and the latest DirectX?

yeah i know i have the late est nvidia drivers i think. i did a driver update

 

and the directX. the games i install always say i have the latest drivers

 

 

and can u tell me exactually how u update your graphics card?

you download the latest drivers form the manufacturers home site, it is just a setup file, double click install, reset and voila
