Experts are saying that the death toll could easily reach 100,000. Also, scientists reported that the earthquake was so powerful, it disrupted the earth's rotation on its axis enough to disturb the chronological clock......making the day longer/shorter. The mass distribution of the Earth was shifted due to it which caused the distruption. And I think I remember hearing that the one of the islands in either Malaysia or Indonesia shifted south about 100 ft. Now we need another 9.x quake to but it back to normal.
