Chaotica
Quite the retro gamer, Robbbert! Interesting stuff. You ever played/bought a game that is as big, or bigger then a CD? I love old games too, but my passion is the Amiga computer, and Amiga gaming.
Robert
Quite the retro gamer, Robbbert! Interesting stuff. You ever played/bought a game that is as big, or bigger then a CD? I love old games too, but my passion is the Amiga computer, and Amiga gaming. I've never bought a new game (maybe I shouldn't say that). From what I recall, the only game bigger than a CD, was mybrothers Ages Of Empires, he was hooked but I found it boring.I played all of 5 minutes. My neighbour was crazy about Diablo for a while, but he got sickof it crashing and doing weird things. He also has an Amiga, butan avalanche of viruses made him stop using it. Lucandrake
Damn robbert, never seen a person that's devoted to classics such as yourself, altho all old games are sweet and nobody can deny that (exept for the retards that are at my age, I feel so disgraced) , but some new games do have cool crap you want to play with, and the eye candy is complete stupidity, what about GTA? No one ever thought about making a game that was city wide on the setting, and if you look closly, the graphics are pretty gay...exept for the X box version, but it was kinda fun playing 3 and vice city, but damn nobody should just forget about all this wonderfull classics that made all this NEW games possible!!! Ryuken
kids don't suck these day, it's just that they've been given too much but i gotta say pong does get boring, but tetris is fun anyway u know those flash games that are made like the classic game, well most kids play those when they're at school or when they're not on their own computer
Cominus
Yeah all those old-skool fighting / shooting gameslike king of fighters / metal slug / etc I really am old skool. Get this: I have never owned a console. The last one I used only had pong on it. I collect dos games, the newest was made in 1995. If a game fits on a single floppy disk, I want it If a game is larger than one CD, I do NOT want it. I started off with 8-bit computers over 20 years ago, thenprogressed to a 286 and on from there. My fastest pc onlydoes 500mhz. Beat that!<{POST_SNAPBACK}> You need to get a job.
OverlordMondo
EGM: What are you going to say when your kids say Wind Waker looks boring? Parker: Get out of my house. You're out of my will.Hehe.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>I'd say something like, "You really are my child." And while retro games aren't bad games, you shouldn't abandon current games. Is there any reason you won't play a game bigger than one CD other than dilluted devotion to classic gaming? esoteric
than get a new computer man, a year from now you wont even be able to run the internet without it lagging like crazy and i truly dont see what is wrong with people disliking oldschool games, people are just used to more depth what this topic is that kids should be beaten because they grew up with an extra luxury at this point i bet more than half of you couldnt even live without a grocery store or something similiar but in the old days people didnt have those they had to hunt and grow there own food. this being similiar to that i dont understand why kids should be beaten with metal poles for disliking some old games
